We had a fantastic time at Beaches! The room was clean and had everything we needed, and the location right by the sea was perfect. Julie, the chef and manager, was incredibly warm and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Felt right at home, no reason to complain.

We had a warm welcome at Beaches Guest House, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Our room, number 8, had a charming balcony overlooking the estuary, and the whole place had a lovely, seaside hotel vibe. It was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, and we appreciated the thoughtful upgrades like the outdoor seating area and complimentary ice and bottled water. The hosts, Joe and Buzz, were excellent and the breakfast was delicious. The location was also perfect, with plenty of things to do in the area. We had a chilled and enjoyable stay and would definitely come back.

I had a really enjoyable experience staying at Beaches Guest House. The breakfast was delicious and the staff serving it were friendly. The location of the guest house was ideal, with a great view of the beach. Despite being near a main road, the double glazing helped to keep the noise out, so I had a peaceful night's sleep. I highly recommend this guest house for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Southend.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff, Jo and Buzz, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, even offering assistance with my luggage due to my recent hip replacement. They went above and beyond by including breakfast for me, which was a fantastic gesture. The breakfast itself was delicious and served in a pleasant, bright breakfast room with a small back patio. The location of this hotel was perfect, right on the busy promenade with easy access to the pier and town. I particularly loved my room, which although not very big, had a balcony overlooking the sea, providing a stunning view. The room was clean and well-equipped with a comfortable bed, modern furniture, and a large TV on the wall. The bathroom was also lovely, with a frosted glass window that let in plenty of light. Despite being on the busy promenade, the room was surprisingly quiet at night, allowing for a peaceful sleep. the hotel had a great atmosphere, thanks to Jo and Buzz's attention to details and genuine care for their guests.

I recently enjoyed a 2 night stay at a guest house close to a lovely restaurant called Ocean Beach. The location was perfect, right on the seafront with stunning views. The room was clean and well-stocked with lovely extras, and the bathroom was spacious. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast served in the beautifully decorated breakfast room was excellent.

The room I stayed in was on the small side.

stayed at this guesthouse for a golf trip, and it exceeded expectations. Bright, clean rooms, delicious veggie breakfast, and friendly staff made it the perfect choice. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

The value for money at Beaches was outstanding. Our room had a lovely sea view and the decor throughout the guest house was beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service, making us feel right at home.

We loved the location of the guest house as it was close to the promenade and the town. The no. 9 bus service was easily accessible right outside. The rooms were super and comfortable, with a large bed and double shower. The balcony provided a lovely view. The breakfast was delicious, with a choice of a full English and all the extras you would expect. The staff, especially the lady who served breakfast, were all lovely and provided excellent service. we had a fantastic stay at Beaches Guest House and would definitely recommend it to others.

The staff were welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The room was clean, cozy, and had lovely touches that made our stay pleasant. The ensuite bathroom was spacious, and the provision of shower gels and shampoos was a nice touch. The breakfast offered a wide selection of options, and the cooked food was fresh and of good quality. the hotel had a calming atmosphere and provided a great experience.

I recently stayed at Beaches Guest House for my wedding weekend and I could not be more thrilled with the experience. The location was fabulous, right across from the water, and my room had a balcony where I could enjoy my coffee and people watch. The outdoor coffee cafe next door was a lovely addition. The breakfast was worth every penny with freshly prepared options served in a light and airy dining room or on the patio. But the best part was the welcoming and accommodating staff, Jo and Buzz. They made my stay feel special and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and relaxation. I have never been treated so beautifully and I 100000% recommend staying here.
