There was nothing I didn't like.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel in a charming Cotswold village. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside and only a short distance from Oxford. I loved the peaceful atmosphere of the small village, with just one other pub nearby. The staff at this place were incredibly friendly and provided excellent customer service, especially Bea and Jack. They made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, even offering a refreshing welcome drink. The room I stayed in was spacious and well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities including ironing facilities and a comfortable sitting area. I also enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with the lovely garden furniture provided.

Although my overall stay was fantastic, there were a few minor issues that I encountered. I stayed in a cottage outside the main building, and unfortunately, there was a constant humming noise from the cooling system in the cellar below.

Located close to Oxford and Bicester, Bear and Ragged Staff is a charming hotel situated in a quiet and beautiful village setting. The rooms are modern, spacious, and equipped with all necessary amenities. The staff is friendly and the traditional English breakfast is a treat. Guests can also enjoy a glass of wine on the patio in the evening.

The noise from the kitchen during dinner can be disruptive.

Friendly staff, charming old-world accommodation, luxurious bathroom, great place to meet locals. Upgraded room with super king bed, jacuzzi bath, and TV in the bathroom. Thoughtful touches like handmade biscuits, fresh milk, and bathrobes. Lovely restaurant and bar with excellent meals. Nice outdoor area. Quick bus ride to nearby city. Family reunion was lovely.

The bathroom was lovely, with a large bath and rain shower. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who were always willing to assist. The breakfast was delicious, especially the full English, cooked to perfection. The hotel also offered great facilities, such as a music system with iPhone attachment and a TV in the bathroom. it was a fantastic experience.

One small drawback was the difficult staircase leading to the room, especially when carrying luggage. However, the staff did offer assistance with luggage, which was greatly appreciated.

This charming pub/hotel is located in a beautiful village, slightly away from the main pub, making it an ideal choice for business travelers working in the area. The rooms are large, with super comfy beds and spacious bathrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing valuable local information. The breakfast options are great and the evening meals are of good quality. there are several areas in the hotel and outside garden where guests can relax with a drink.

It would be even better if the hotel had an electric charger in the car park for electric cars.

I stayed at this charming pub for one night to meet some family members nearby. The location was perfect and the room was just the right size. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, with delicious food served. The staff were all very nice and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. I had a wonderful stay at this quintessential "Old England" pub and highly recommend it.

My husband and I recently stayed at a charming hotel for a romantic weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The building itself is absolutely lovely and full of character. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we were particularly delighted by the double shower. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious - we enjoyed dishes like arancini, sea bass, steak pie, and crab spring rolls. The variety of drinks, especially the caramel rum, was a delightful surprise. The hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop, making it easy for us to take a trip to explore nearby attractions. The staff also provided great recommendations for places to visit in the area. our experience was fantastic, and we would definitely consider returning in the future.

Complementary drinks on arrival and on Christmas day. the location was great near to the bus stop and a few shops that opened on Christmas day. the peace and quiet surroundings.

The dust was a bit too much and the milk was sour in the fridge. the replacement service was too slow, the staff seemed uninterested in helping us.
