We had a very pleasant stay at Beaufort and would recommend it to others. The location was great, with convenient access to parking. Our room was tidy and comfortable, providing enough space for our bags. The restaurant below served delicious food. Even though there were a couple of drawbacks, overall our experience was positive.

The hotel was easy to find with ample parking and a convenient ten-minute walk from the town center. the cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, with fresh and light walls being repainted during my stay. My room, although small and lacking a view, was bright and comfortable, and the bed and pillows provided a good night's sleep. the staff were friendly and helpful, offering fresh towels and house service on request. the outdoor seating area was spacious and a great place to relax.

I did encounter a couple of negatives during my stay. one of the beds in my room was smaller than expected.

This hotel is a hidden gem. The value for money is outstanding, with prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail in the rooms is superb, from the basic amenities to the sofa bed and the big bath, which was a bonus. The location, just a 7-minute walk from the castle, is perfect, even though it's up a steep hill and in a maze-like place. The staff provided excellent service and made us feel welcome. The breakfast portions were large and satisfying.

The bar had a great atmosphere, and we loved the outside pod and swing. The cocktails were delicious, and the staff were friendly and polite. The restaurant service, especially from the young lad from Manchester, was outstanding. The meals we had were excellent, despite the limited menu. Beaufort is the best hotel we've stayed at in Scotland, and we would definitely recommend it.
