From the moment I arrived at this beautiful countryside retreat, I felt welcomed and at ease. The room I stayed in was spotlessly clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The hosts had thoughtfully provided a fridge and a fan to ensure my utmost comfort, especially during the hot weather. The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering a variety of options for everyone's taste. I also appreciated the self-service aspect and Gunta's delicious cooked breakfast. The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable about the local area, providing valuable tips for sightseeing, dining, and even assisting with a route planner. Their friendly nature made me feel right at home, and the surrounding scenery was simply stunning. I can't fault my stay at Beechwood Lodge, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional experience. it was an unforgettable stay, and I'm already planning my return trip.

I recently stayed at Beechwood Lodge for a quiet weekend getaway. The bedrooms were lovely, with a beautiful view of the open countryside and the peaceful sound of the stream running through the garden. The couple who run the B&B went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and the sitting/dining room provided a lovely space to relax outside of our room. The underfloor heating kept us cozy, and the location on a quiet, no-through road ensured a peaceful stay. Parking was convenient as well.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy lodge. Alec and Gunta, the hosts, were fantastic and made us feel right at home. They had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable, including a wide range of breakfast options. Their knowledge of the local area and recommendations for sightseeing, dining, and activities were invaluable. We were able to pack in so much more into our trip thanks to their guidance. The location was also perfect for us as it provided a great stopping point on our journey up to John O'Groats. a superior experience compared to other hotels we've stayed at.

What a treat it was to stay at this beautiful B&B in the heart of the countryside. the view from our bedroom window overlooked the lush farmland, and the only noise we heard was the calming sound of the stream running by. the couple who run the B&B were incredible hosts, giving us recommendations for local walking paths to explore. We loved having access to the DVD library and board games, which made for cozy evenings in. the breakfast was tasty and filling, with plenty of options to choose from.

Although the room was spacious, it lacked a wardrobe or hangers for any formal clothing. the B&B was a fair distance from the town center, which meant that we had to drive each time we wanted to eat out or explore the local area.
