I recently stayed at Beechwood Lodge for a quiet weekend getaway. The underfloor heating kept us cozy, and the location on a quiet, no-through road ensured a peaceful stay. Parking was convenient as well.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy lodge. Alec and Gunta, the hosts, were fantastic and made us feel right at home. They had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable, including a wide range of breakfast options. Their knowledge of the local area and recommendations for sightseeing, dining, and activities were invaluable. We were able to pack in so much more into our trip thanks to their guidance. The location was also perfect for us as it provided a great stopping point on our journey up to John O'Groats. a superior experience compared to other hotels we've stayed at.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely B&B in the north. the rooms were spacious and well-equipped with a fridge, kettle, and big TV with a DVD player. the owners, Alec and Gunta, were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great suggestions for activities and even helping us plan day trips. the area is perfect for hiking and mountain biking, making it highly recommended for outdoor enthusiasts.

What a treat it was to stay at this beautiful B&B in the heart of the countryside. the view from our bedroom window overlooked the lush farmland, and the only noise we heard was the calming sound of the stream running by. the couple who run the B&B were incredible hosts, giving us recommendations for local walking paths to explore. We loved having access to the DVD library and board games, which made for cozy evenings in. the breakfast was tasty and filling, with plenty of options to choose from.

Although the room was spacious, it lacked a wardrobe or hangers for any formal clothing. the B&B was a fair distance from the town center, which meant that we had to drive each time we wanted to eat out or explore the local area.
