I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome drink upon arrival, which added a special touch to my stay. The room itself was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed, including a cozy sitting area, terrace with garden furniture, and a flat-screen TV. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left. the food in the dining room was absolutely delicious, and our breakfast the next morning was equally satisfying. the inn had a lovely relaxed vibe, and we thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary sloe gin and malts that were provided in our room. Another great perk was the Nespresso machine in the room, along with a selection of teas. the location was perfect, with beautiful walks and ponds nearby.

While the inn overall was wonderful, our room could use a bit of updating. the windows were old and didn't open properly, and it was clear that some decorating was needed.

the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room was inconvenient. Having to go to a different room to make and carry back hot beverages was not ideal, especially in the mornings.

My recent stay at Bel & The Dragon Churt was fantastic. The room I stayed in, Darcy, was lovely - very spacious and clean. I particularly enjoyed the soft pillows which provided a comfortable sleep. The bathroom was also very clean and had all the necessary facilities. The restaurant staff provided excellent service and the food and fine wines were outstanding. I was welcomed warmly by the person who answered the phone on the day of my arrival.

Some minor drawbacks include the creaky floorboards in the room and the noise from a metal extractor on the roof that could be heard in the beer garden and on the terrace.

We enjoyed the complimentary welcome drink and the gin bottle in the room, even though we don't drink gin. The breakfast was excellent, and the lady who served us was attentive and couldn't have been more helpful. We loved the peaceful and beautiful surroundings of this hotel in a rural area.
