The hotel exceeded our expectations with its great location and comfortable rooms. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the modern decor. the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast options, with plenty to choose from. Additionally, the hotel provided ample parking space which was a bonus.

We were disappointed with a few aspects of our stay. the reception staff seemed a bit unfriendly and not very welcoming.

The staff, especially Paula in the dining room, were great. The location is conveniently near Bramber castle and restaurants. Perfect for an overnight stay near the airport. Food options are generous but not the best quality. Quiet ambiance and nice public areas overall.

The price for our stay at this hotel was very reasonable, especially considering the package deal we got for dinner, bed, and breakfast. The room itself was spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities including a big flat-screen TV. The staff were attentive and provided great service throughout our stay. The hotel is conveniently located in a charming village, making it easy to explore the nearby Northdowns gardens and South Downs area. We also appreciated the variety of vegetarian options available in the restaurant for our evening meal.

All in all, our experience at this hotel was fantastic and we couldn't find anything to fault.

The location was ideal for my travel needs and close to a nearby town center. the room was comfortable and cozy, perfect for a relaxing weekend away. the friendly staff was always available to assist with any requests and provided excellent customer service.

The bedding was far too soft and provided no back support. the pillows were also too soft, making it difficult to sleep.

The location of this hotel is perfect, situated between three lovely Sussex villages at the foot of the Downs. The staff at this hotel are incredibly attentive and provide excellent service. The rooms are well-equipped and have excellent showers, with all necessary features. The breakfast at this hotel is outstanding, with a wide variety of options and great quality ingredients.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was cosy and clean, and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. The bathroom was also gigantic with a well-lit mirror. The hotel facilities were great, including a lovely garden. The location was perfect, with a beautiful ruined castle across the road and a river nearby, making it great for running. The breakfast was delicious, with a good range of options cooked to perfection.

Comfortable room, limited sandwich options for lunch. Excellent bed, would stay again. Friendly service, clean room, great facilities including jacuzzi bath and large shower. Wonderful staff, delicious meals, can’t wait to return. Welcoming reception, showed genuine interest in our visit and followed up on our events.

The value for money at the hotel was great, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location was fantastic, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to cafes, restaurants, and the South Downs. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel even had electric car chargers in the parking area.

The only thing that could be improved was the breakfast offerings, specifically the self-service starters which were cold and not explained properly.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, from the spotless rooms to the well-maintained hotel facilities. The parking was ample and convenient, allowing us to easily come and go. The location in this charming village was beautiful, offering easy access to the motorway and a delightful river walk just ten minutes away. Breakfast was fantastic, with a delicious buffet spread and attentive staff who made sure we were well taken care of.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Steyning. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and had a heated bathroom floor, which was a lovely touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. In the morning, I enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast with plenty of healthy options available. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring I had a pleasant experience. The nearby town of Steyning is also very charming, with quaint tea rooms to explore. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and amenities.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean rooms at Old Tollgate. The hot shower was powerful and refreshing, and the windows opened fully, allowing us to enjoy the cool breeze. The staff members we encountered were all pleasant, chatty, and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Car parking was plentiful, and the restaurant offered a lovely carvery with a special Friday night deal. The breakfast had a great selection and was delicious. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay at Old Tollgate again.
