Just had an amazing stay at a cozy pub with a fire going. LOVED the breakfast served. Rooms had noisy boiler outside, but would definitely choose this place again. the garden area was even better than the photos! .

The tea/coffee maker in our room was a real lifesaver, like having a superhero by our side to save us from sluggish mornings! It made us feel like we had a personal barista at our beck and call, brewing up a storm to kickstart our day.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. the food served at the hotel was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. I especially enjoyed the cooked breakfast. Despite the small size of the rooms, including the bathroom, it was perfectly suitable for a solo traveler like myself. One of the supervisors even went out of their way to take me to the train station on a Sunday when there was a long wait for a taxi. I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again when in the area.

The hotel is conveniently located near the river, allowing for pleasant walks and beautiful views. The room was spacious enough and provided tea-making facilities. The breakfast, cooked to order, was delicious and filling. Free car parking and a garden area were also available for guests.

The internet connection was unreliable and intermittent, which was inconvenient for those needing to work.

During our Easter stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the clean and spacious room we were provided. the bed was soft and comfortable, and the tea-making facilities were a nice touch. the hotel's location was fantastic, with easy access to beautiful walks across the meadows and a calming atmosphere in the nearby village. Being only a short walk away from Huntingdon was a definite advantage, as it allowed us to explore the area easily. the Sunday roast dinner we had was excellent, and the cooked breakfast on Sunday was delicious and served hot.

There were a few aspects that could have been improved upon. It would have been nice to have more variety, especially with classic dishes like fish and chips or scampi.

the room we stayed in was quite small and lacked attention to detail, especially in regards to the windows and emergency lighting. the en suite bathroom was cramped and poorly designed, with limited space for toiletries and a shower that had little power and only a weak water flow.

We had a fantastic one-night stay at the Black Bull. The pub had a charming, old-world ambiance and our room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was especially cozy and we enjoyed a great night's sleep. The shower in the room was excellent, and we appreciated the thoughtful setup with a good selection of teas and coffees. The food at the pub was delicious, with generous portions and lovely presentation. We also had a warm welcome from the staff and enjoyed a tasty breakfast.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the friendly and helpful staff. They made me feel welcome and were always ready to assist with any queries or concerns. the food served at the hotel was delicious and reasonably priced. the cooked breakfast was a highlight of my mornings there. I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was conveniently located near the college and town, making it easy for me to explore the area.

While there were many positives, there were a few aspects that could be improved. I noticed that some crockery on the dining room table was not clean, which was a bit unpleasant.

The hotel provided a warm welcome and a comfortable room with all the expected amenities. The staff was helpful and the on-site car parking was convenient. The location was easy to access and within walking distance of the city center. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of choices including delicious Stornoway black pudding.

During our recent stay at Black Bull, my husband and I were pleased with the location and found it convenient for exploring the surrounding towns. We enjoyed the ample seating outside, especially when watching football in the gazebo. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The homemade pies at the pub were delicious as well. we had a pleasant experience and would consider returning.

Our accommodation had the charm of an old inn and the Sunday roast dinner was excellent. the room, although small, was adequate for our short stay. the cooked breakfast on Sunday was delicious and the continental breakfast on Monday was served well and pleasantly.
