We had a lovely stay at this quiet and welcoming family-run hotel. the staff were friendly and the spacious bedroom was very comfortable. the location in Staffordshire countryside was a peaceful oasis, and we appreciated the proximity to nearby attractions such as Stoke, Market Drayton, the Monkey Forest, and Trentham Gardens. the hotel exceeded our expectations by upgrading us to a cottage, providing extra luxury and space. the amenities, including tea/coffee making facilities, high-quality towels and bedding, hot water, and a warm bathroom, were all top-notch. the staff even accommodated our special request for fresh fruit and yoghurt for breakfast each morning. the bar offered a cosy atmosphere and delicious food, and the restaurant impressed us with its quality and value. the service, facilities, and location made for a fantastic stay.

This hotel was perfectly suited to my needs as I was visiting friends in the Stoke on Trent area. The location was great for exploring the potteries and surrounding areas. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-presented with pleasant views. I also enjoyed having an onsite bar and restaurant, making it convenient to relax and eat without having to venture too far.

Secondly, the location of the hotel was superb, nestled in a beautiful area with easy access to motorways. Lastly, the rooms were well-appointed and had all the necessary amenities, including a walk-in shower and separate seating area. The breakfast, with its good ingredients and variety, was the perfect start to my day.

A hidden gem in Staffordshire countryside, Slater's is a charming, family-run hotel. We stayed for 4 nights while visiting family in the area and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a cottage. The bar offered a cozy atmosphere for socializing and the restaurant impressed us with delicious meals. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. Great value for money.

The bed was very comfortable and provided a good night's sleep after a long day of work. the staff were welcoming and accommodating, making me feel right at home. the directions provided for finding the hotel were spot on, making it easy to locate.

The rooms were quite warm on the balmy summer evenings and a fan would have been a welcome addition. Some areas of the hotel could use a bit of modernisation.
