We stayed at Black Horse in Grassington for a short visit and had a fantastic experience. The homemade food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The ambience of the restaurant and bar was lovely, and we even had great seats to watch the football. The hotel itself is characterful and well-appointed, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect, right in the center of a charming town. Couldn't have asked for more, thank you!

our recent honeymoon in grassington was made even more special by our stay at this charming pub. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. we enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and the central location was perfect for exploring the town.

Centrally located with comfortable rooms, welcoming restaurant and pub. Excellent dog friendliness, superb Hetton Pale ale on draft. Friendly staff, recently refurbished rooms, and excellent breakfast. Great village location with pleasant bar and restaurant, plenty of space to relax and a small seating area outside.

They provided hand sanitiser and wore face visors. the food at the restaurant was excellent, with a great selection of dishes. the hotel also had a lively bar with a selection of real ales. the location was perfect, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

The breakfast arrangements were a bit unusual, with guests having to pre-order their breakfast the night before. the breakfast service times were also restrictive, particularly for weekday visitors.

Our room was dirty and the cups, glasses, and towel were not properly cleaned. We also did not receive shower gel or shampoo, which made our stay inconvenient.

The hotel's location is ideal, situated in the heart of a charming town. It is close to everything we needed, and after a day of walking the hills, it was lovely to relax with a drink in a separate area at breakfast time. The room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The bathroom had a powerful shower. The service provided by the staff was friendly, polite, and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and filling. There were also facilities such as a fridge on the first floor landing.

The atmosphere at dinner was lacking, with no music and a quiet ambiance.

The breakfast at the hotel was excellent, with a pre-order system ensuring a wide choice and good quality. the twin room we stayed in was very good, complete with a powerful shower. Plus, the hotel had a great friendly atmosphere, with busy bars and local musicians playing in the evenings.

The limited parking available at the hotel and in the nearby square, requiring us to park in a NCP car park about 5 minutes away. the cheese board we ordered for two people was a bit disappointing in terms of portion size, as it seemed more suitable for one person.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially towards our Labrador puppy. The location was superb, with easy access to transportation and parking. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, which was outstanding. We loved being able to order exactly what we wanted the evening before, and the food was delicious. we had a wonderful time and are already planning our next visit.
