Great location with marina views, close to town, and Pickie Fun Park. Comfy rooms, clean en-suite, and spacious. Helpful receptionist recommended a nearby Chinese restaurant. Good breakfast options and cooked breakfast.

This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The stunning views of the marina from the rooms add an extra touch of beauty to your stay. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service, making you feel welcome throughout your time here. The rooms are comfortable and include basic amenities, including a bath for your relaxation. Although breakfast is not included in the overnight rate, it is definitely worth adding to your stay as it is very good.

All was well, no major issues.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel, located right on the seafront in the town centre. The room was bright and airy, with a large tub in the spacious bathroom. The staff were lovely and friendly, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. The view from the bedroom, with two bay windows, was breathtaking. We also enjoyed the large TV that could be moved for comfortable viewing. The hotel had free parking and WiFi, and the breakfast offered in the nice dining area was a great option.

We did notice that the room smelt unpleasant, and some of the carpets in the hotel were badly stained and needed replacement.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, and the room was really nice with a modern decor. The location was fantastic, just a few minutes away from the main street, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Food for breakfast was great overall, but the sausages could be sourced from a better supplier.

During my stay at Astala Lodge, I was delighted by the stunning view of the marina from my room. It was truly a beautiful sight to wake up to every morning. The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to provide hot milk for my niece's young children before bedtime, which made our stay even more comfortable. The rooms themselves were lovely, with a touch of elegance that added to the overall ambiance. I would definitely choose to stay at Astala Lodge again in the future. I highly recommend this hotel.

The linens and towels were of good quality. the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas.

The bed and furnishings were worn out and ragged, and the shower showed signs of lack of cleaning and mold.

I had a wonderful stay at a budget accommodation in Bangor. The staff were incredibly friendly and the rooms were lovely. Even though the lift wasn't working, it didn't bother me too much. The views from the hotel were fantastic, and the location on the seafront was perfect. The breakfast provided was also great value for money. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant stay.

We arrived early for check-in but had no problem accessing our room at Astala Lodge. Our top-floor room had an excellent view of the park and harbour. the full Ulster breakfast provided was delicious and served as a great start to our day. the location of the lodge was convenient, being only 15 minutes away from Belfast. the staff were friendly and the lodge also had a smoking area and bar on the ground floor. we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. the proximity to late-night pubs with live Irish music and being situated right on the harbor were additional bonuses.

The room did get a little cold at certain points during the night. ❄️

I recently stayed at the Astala Lodge in Bangor for a few days and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were welcoming and helpful, adding to the lovely feel of the accommodation. The location, facing the beautiful harbor, made for a quieter stay compared to other hotels in the area. Our front facing room had stunning views across the harbor, and the breakfast provided was fantastic. With free WIFI, a small bar, and comfortable seating areas, I couldn't ask for more. I will definitely return to the Astala when I'm back in town.

We recently stayed at Astala Lodge for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. Trevor, the hotel's host, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Our room had an amazing view of the harbor, and the location of the hotel was perfect, as it was central to everything. The room itself was clean, warm, and cozy, providing us with a comfortable stay. Additionally, the cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying. We can't wait to stay at Astala Lodge again in the future.
