Couldn't stay longer.

Located in a picturesque area close to a charming village and stunning lake, the Bluebird Lodge offers convenience and natural beauty. Guests can enjoy walking to nearby pubs and taking in the lovely view of Coniston and The Old Man from the bright and airy dining room. The friendly staff provide warm towels for dogs and go above and beyond with personal surprises for special occasions.

The shower could benefit from more power to speed up showering.

Bluebird Lodge is a charming and cozy place to stay, with a lovely atmosphere. The location is excellent, just a short walk along a scenic path to the charming village and the beautiful lake district. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with comfy beds and spacious bathrooms with good showers. The breakfast is delicious and there is a stunning view of the snow-covered mountains. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, offering helpful advice for exploring the area.

The rooms facing the road can be a bit noisy, which can affect sleep quality at night.

Cannot find any fault.

The hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. Its location on the outskirts of the village, with a pathway leading directly to the heart of the action, is a convenient perk. The staff provide excellent service, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The rooms are equipped with basic amenities and offer the luxury of a spa bath, complete with wonderful views. The breakfast, with its vegetarian option, is served in a dining area that boasts an amazing view.

All was well, with no major issues to report.

We had a fantastic stay at Bluebird Lodge. The location couldn't have been better, with a bus stop conveniently located just outside the accommodation, making it easy for us to explore Windermere and Kendal. The village of Coniston was also within walking distance, with plenty of shops, pubs, and tourist information available. We especially loved the fact that the start of the hike up Old Man Coniston was just a short walk away. Our room, although small, was clean and had a great view. We were provided with tea and coffee making facilities, and Tracy, our host, was quick to replenish any supplies we needed. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of cooked food, cereal, yogurt, and fruit salad. we had a great week and would definitely choose to stay at Bluebird Lodge again if we ever return to the Lakes.

The location and views were stunning, making our stay truly memorable. The owners were friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Ample cleaning supplies and hand sanitizers made us feel safe.

The apartment at this lodge was light and airy with stunning views. It had lovely decor and was very clean. The hosts were superb, quickly resolving any issues. The location was great, only a 5-minute walk to the village and close to the lake. The beds were large and comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast room offered a breathtaking view of Coniston Old Man, and the breakfast itself was delicious with a variety of options to choose from.

The greeting upon arrival was a bit half-hearted, possibly due to the muddy condition of the guests and their dog.

The king suite was spacious, warm, and comfortable. The location was great, with lovely views. The owners were friendly and welcoming.

I had a wonderful stay at the lodge, where the staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. From the warm welcome by the owner to the clean and comfortable room, everything was perfect. the English breakfasts were delicious and fueled me for the day. the hosts went above and beyond by providing recommendations for places to eat, visit, and even walk our dog. it was a fantastic experience that I look forward to repeating.
