As a bigger group of friends, we really enjoyed the spacious and well-maintained gardens at the inn. The food was absolutely amazing, with superb breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The newly refurbished rooms were comfortable and had extra touches that made our stay even better. We also loved the beautiful walks in Bourne Valley, easily accessible from the inn.

Had a fantastic Christmas stay at this lovely country inn. The room was clean and the bed was super comfy. Loved the fact that there were heating pipes under the floor to keep us warm. The pub had a great old-fashioned vibe and the staff were really friendly. The food in the restaurant was amazing, especially the rump steak with all the trimmings. And the location was perfect, with beautiful walks right from the doorstep.

The walls in the bedrooms were quite thin, so we could hear noise from adjacent rooms. , the shower tripped out in the morning, leaving us without hot water for a while.

The bar offered a good selection of beers, ales, and gins at reasonable prices, served with friendly smiles and engaging conversations. The food at the inn was exceptional, with a small but well-executed menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the garlic chicken keiv, while my wife loved the mushroom ravioli. The highlight of our meals was the fresh, mouth-watering bread. The staff were delightful - friendly and chatty, without being intrusive. We even had the pleasure of experiencing open mic night and witnessing the warm rapport between the staff and the locals, which showcased the genuine and lovely nature of the people.
