Braeside Bed & Breakfast, run by a delightful host named Sally, exceeded my expectations. the room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom featuring a refreshing shower and a luxurious bath. the personal touch of a small fridge in the room, stocked with fresh milk, was a lovely gesture. Sally's breakfasts were absolutely fantastic, cooked to order and served in the charming dining room. it was a pleasant and memorable experience, and I hope to return next year.

The road to the property was tight and the entrance was a bit tricky to navigate at first.

Braeside Bed & Breakfast was a perfect choice for my short visit to Northumberland. the beautiful house had a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the welcoming host, Sally, made me feel right at home. the room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a luxurious ensuite bathroom featuring a deep bath. But the highlight for me was the incredibly comfortable bed, which was a pleasant surprise compared to other B&Bs I've stayed at. Sally's delicious cooked-to-order breakfasts were a great start to each day, and I loved the fresh berries and yogurt served in separate bowls. the location was peaceful, set in lovely grounds with a stunning view of the sunset.

Nothing it was perfect.

Loved the rustic and charming decor of the place. the rooms were huge and well-maintained, with a fantastic bathroom including both a bath and shower. the homemade cake and tea on arrival were a delightful touch. the location was perfect for exploring the Northumberland area, with plenty of interesting places to visit nearby and a great local pub within walking distance.

While some people may enjoy the company of dogs, it would have been helpful to know in advance that there were dogs on the property. A bit of background music during breakfast would have been nice to create a more relaxing atmosphere.

The value for money at Braeside was excellent, and the room was cozy and comfortable. The location in the quiet village was perfect for exploring Northumberland, and the staff, especially Sally, were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
