During our stay in this historic hotel, we found the location to be absolutely charming. It was situated on a picturesque street, right next to the village centre, making it convenient for exploring the local shops and attractions. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a modern bathroom with a fixed head shower. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring our tea and coffee supplies were replenished daily. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from, including fresh fruit and a full English breakfast. It was truly a delightful stay.

The server seemed overwhelmed when all the guests came down at the same time, resulting in a longer wait time. The small portion of brown toast and beans I received did not justify the high price I paid.

We were delighted to be given the beautiful, tudor-styled honeymoon suite, complete with a spacious bathroom and stunning views. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, offering a great start to our day. Despite a minor incident where we had to visit the hospital, the overall experience was wonderful.

The Bull Hotel in Long Melford is a gem! the location is ideal, nestled in a very quaint village and close to several National Trust properties. The ambience of the building is lovely and oozes character with its beams and old-world charm. Secondly, the staff at this hotel are friendly and accommodating, making our stay a pleasure from start to finish. Lastly, the rooms are tastefully decorated, and our 4 poster bed was incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail was evident, and we were impressed by the quality of the breakfast at a reasonable rate. The use of fresh ingredients and ample portions made for a delicious start to the day.
