My recent stay at this hotel was a fantastic experience! the hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. the breakfast served was of high quality, delicious and well-prepared. the room was cozy, clean, and tastefully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. the surrounding area is breathtaking, with numerous beautiful walks and attractions nearby, including charming craft shops, cafes, and a lovely pub with a great atmosphere. the two ladies who run the hotel are absolute gems, always ready to help and ensure a pleasant stay.

While the overall experience was wonderful, I did find the bed to be a bit soft for my liking. Perhaps adding mattress toppers or different bedding options could cater to guests with varying preferences.

Picture-perfect village, dog-friendly accommodation, and delicious breakfast. Great location with own parking, friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and Ruth and Rachel were brilliant. Definitely a gem worth returning to.

The whole experience at Burnley Country House was excellent, especially Rachel's hosting skills and the delicious full English breakfast. the charming village location, warm and welcoming owners, and proximity to a cozy country pub made our stay memorable. the beautiful house and dog-friendly policy were additional bonuses. the garden area and leisure room provided relaxation, and exploring landmarks like the Crypt of Lastingham Church and Ryedale Folk Museum enhanced family bonding.

Absolutely MIND-BLOWING breakfast spread, with delightful table touches and top-notch coffee facilities. Incredibly welcoming hosts, charming room, and a serene location for exploring nearby gems.

The breakfast spread was a delightful surprise, like stumbling upon a treasure trove in the morning! the freshly baked croissants were as light and flaky as a cloud, while the full English breakfast was a hearty feast fit for a king. Such a delicious start to the day!

Mattress in one room uncomfortable.

burnley house surpassed my previous visit to hutton le hole with its lovely, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. the attention to detail and unexpected bonuses made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Internet was nonexistent in the surrounding area.

Picture, perfect village vibes and top, notch B&B with high standards. the Kirkdale room is a dream with a cozy bed and speedy wifi. Breakfast steals the show, and the host is a gem.

The Rosedale room felt a tad cramped, with a low and lumpy mattress. Tread lightly in the shower cubicle—it's snug.

Burnley House is a charming, traditional building with picturesque surroundings. The decor is tastefully done in a cozy country cottage style. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent and the quality of the food is high. The hosts are professional and provide exceptional service.

Great value for money with a comfortable and spacious room. The location was perfect for exploring nearby villages and the National Park. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent recommendations for local eateries and even arranging an early breakfast for us on a Sunday.
