Noise disturbances from nearby bars and restaurants!!! Room cleanliness could use attention, especially in the bathrooms!!! Unreliable Wi-Fi connectivity makes working from the room frustrating!!! Temperature control in rooms needs improvement to avoid discomfort!!!

the room was way too tiny, woudl ve been nicer if I had room for my luggage. and speaking of nice, why was the bar absolutely freezing? The 'delightful' staff didn’t seem to care either. As a guest who expected a red-carpet experience, I just couldn’t believe there were no complimentary treats for the inconvenience. Definitley disappointing.

While the ambiance is charming and the evening dinner service flows seamlessly, the experience fell short in other areas. The inconsistent breakfast quality and overcrowding were disappointing. Though I enjoyed my comfortable room and the central location, it didn’t quite live up to the expectations set by its reputation.

Had a great time with friends! The staff were attentive and welcoming. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and a convenient location for hill walking and golf at nearby courses. Perfect for skiing too! The hotel was busy, which added to the lively atmosphere. Easy access to shops and nightlife was a plus.

Had a cozy double room that felt charming and authentic. Breakfast was cooked to order and absolutely delicious, though the hot water pressure could've been better.

The breakfast was amazing! ! A varied selection, especially the porridge and the full Scottish. The evening meal was top-notch with an exceptional steak pie! Service was friendly and attentive, making it feel special.

The location is excellent, right across from the train station and close to shops, making it easy to explore. The recently refurbished bathroom was a highlight, providing modern comfort. Breakfast stood out with a great selection of American-inspired dishes, particularly noted for its quality and flavor. However, the bar area felt a bit crowded and could use more seating during busy evenings, detracting slightly from the overall atmosphere.

This hotel is perfectly situated for enjoying all the outdoor fun, from hill walking to skiing. We brought our two dogs along and loved the dog-friendly vibe. Plus, the breakfast was a real treat, cooked to order and delicious, just like we hoped!

My wife says that the room felt a bit cramped. A little more space would definitely elevate the experience for families.

I had a cozy double room with a stunning view of the mountains right from my window. The food was exceptional both for breakfast and dinner, really hit the spot after long days of exploring. Met some great folks at the bar too, couldn't have asked for a better environment.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still very acceptable for what you get.
