We also enjoyed the opportunity to take a tour of the castle. everything about our experience at Castle Villa was fantastic, making us feel like part of the family. The breakfast options, whether full English or Continental, were amazing. We highly recommend Castle Villa and would definitely book again!

The extra area with a sofa was a nice touch and added to the overall comfort of the room. The bathroom was large with a stunning view of the castle grounds and estuary. The breakfast in the stylish restaurant overlooking the estuary was a highlight, and the direct access from the rooms made it even more convenient. The beautiful grounds and the experience of staying in a castle added to the charm of our stay.

The room at Y Afon was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was perfect for our group of friends who were also trekkers. We loved being close to the high street for easy access to shops, pubs, and restaurants. The breakfast choices were delicious and plentiful, with options like continental and salmon and scrambled eggs. The service from all staff members was excellent, and we even enjoyed breakfast outside with a great view of the historic grounds and river. Private parking was a helpful amenity, and we enjoyed exploring the interesting house and grounds.

Castle Villa was a delightful place to stay, with its lovely grounds and charming atmosphere. I was particularly impressed with the double room I stayed in, which had a beautiful view of the restaurant's rooftop. The decor was lovely and there was even a seating area, perfect for longer stays. Despite the small issue with the sink plug in the bathroom, everything else was well-maintained. The provision of tea and coffee was generous, although I wish there had been more milk. The parking area, though small, was adequate and well-organized.

There was one small drawback during my visit. The lady in the restaurant seemed a bit curt and unhelpful when we inquired about dining options.

The room/suite was beautiful and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and cozy linens. the location was right in the center of town, making it convenient for exploring. the staff were kind and courteous, and the castle grounds were lovely.

Finding the entrance to the car park was complicated, and the directions provided were incorrect. the breakfast, although served in a lovely restaurant with excellent food quality, was always served rather cold.

The hotel also offers a mini foldaway kitchen in the rooms, complete with a fridge, allowing guests to easily stay for a week if desired.
