We had a fantastic stay at the Cavendish Hotel. The bedrooms were exceptional, with heated bathroom floors and plenty of amenities like teas, coffees, and cookies. The views of the green fields were stunning, and the rooms were quiet and peaceful. The hotel also offers two dining options with delicious food at reasonable prices. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. it's a great place to stay, especially for friends who enjoy going out at nights.

We had a blast at this beautiful hotel on the Chatsworth Estate. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Pete who served us with a cheery smile and took care of our needs. The recently converted room was stunning with amazing views. The hotel's location gave us direct access to Chatsworth park, perfect for outdoor activities. The restaurant had excellent food and the bar was a great place to unwind.

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of Chatsworth park and down by the church in Baslow village. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with nice touches like biscuits and quality bathroom products. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the breakfast is very good. The hotel also offers great views over the local area.

Parking can be a challenge despite the presence of a couple of car parks on the site.

As youngsters, we loved the variety of amenities and activities offered at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The food was delicious, and we especially appreciated the availability of Halal options. The room was comfortable, with lovely views of the countryside.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel near Chatsworth House. The location was perfect, with beautiful views of the estate and a short walk to the house. Our room was comfortable and had a lovely view of the valley. The staff provided friendly and attentive service. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning, with a good variety of options. a great experience!

The limited menu options for dinner were slightly disappointing.

Lovely spot for walking with nice furnishings and pretty surroundings. the room was well appointed and offered excellent bathroom facilities. Food service at the Garden Room restaurant was exceptional with well-prepared dishes and attentive servers.

Service everywhere else in the hotel, especially at breakfast, was unsatisfactory. the breakfast buffet was mediocre and overpriced, especially considering that toast was misplaced and tardy.

The value for money at the Cavendish Hotel was incredible - we paid only £99 and got a standard room with everything we needed and more, including a lovely view. The location overlooking the Chatsworth estate was stunning, and the staff treated us with extreme friendliness and helpfulness throughout our stay.

The breakfast offerings could be improved by including it in the daily rate rather than making it an additional cost. Charging guests for a morning paper didn't feel right for frequent travelers like us who consider it complimentary.
