The guest house is conveniently located near public transport, close to the town center, and just a short walk to the seafront. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with some offering panoramic views of the town and sea. The bathrooms are well-equipped and the shower is excellent. The hosts are friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is delicious, with locally sourced produce. Parking is provided at the back of the house, and there are plenty of local walks and places to eat.

I made the mistake of assuming the bed was a king size when it was actually a double. the dining room was a bit cold.

charnwood guest house was fantastic! the breakfast was delicious, owners were friendly, and the location was great for a stroll along the stream. off-street parking was a bonus and it was nice to interact with other guests and learn about the local area. exceeded expectations and will definitely be back!

No communal lounge with tv.

charnwood guest house in lyme regis was even better than our previous stay. ruth & phil were friendly and welcoming. the location was perfect, close to town and the beach. it felt like home, cosy and comfortable. highly recommend for the value too. can't wait to return.

Small kettle.

We had a great stay at a guest house with a wonderful sea view. The hosts were perfect, the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was freshly cooked to order. Parking included and a lovely walk to the town. I highly recommend this place.
