The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. the view from the room was stunning, overlooking the picturesque countryside. On-site parking was convenient, ensuring that we didn't have to worry about finding a spot for our car.

The room lacked some necessary amenities such as a bedside lamp and adequate surface space to place our belongings. the initial welcome from the staff was quite busy and not as warm as we had hoped.

The room had character, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with fresh produce. Despite being located on a busy road, the room was quiet when the double glazing was in place. The historic pub, with its own car park, added to the enjoyable experience. I would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was very close to Battle Abbey and the train station. It was also convenient to have everything in Battle within walking distance. the hotel had a lovely smoking area in the garden where guests could relax outside.

The shower and toilet room in the hotel was quite small, and the hand basin plug let water by, resulting in the need to constantly top up the water.

The kettle in the room was stocked with plenty of tea, coffee, and milk, ensuring I had everything I needed for a nice cuppa. The inn's location was perfect for me, as it was centrally located and allowed easy access to visit my family in Battle. Despite being a pub, the noise level was reasonable, especially once the pub closed, and I was able to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. I had a very nice and comfortable stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Stayed at a gorgeous traditional pub with a convenient location on the roundabout. The room was perfectly clean with a comfortable bed, hot showers, and even Netflix on the TV. Located on a roundabout, this quaint accommodation offers a lovely pub downstairs where you can enjoy a drink or relax in the smoking area and garden outside. The rooms have character and there is good quality linen available. Additionally, the secondary glazing does an excellent job of cutting out noise from the road.

Some guests have mentioned that the pillows provided no real support, leading to a slightly uncomfortable night's sleep.
