The hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the value for money was exceptional, considering the quality of the experience. Secondly, the attention to detail throughout our stay was impressive. From the beautifully decorated rooms with a huge bathroom to the great facilities provided for us with two bags, everything was thoughtfully arranged. Moreover, the location of this hotel in such a lovely area made our stay even more enjoyable. Lastly, the breakfast included freshly baked warm pastries with very good quality ingredients, and the homemade biscuits were a delightful touch.

All was more than satisfactory, no improvements needed.

The hotel facilities were excellent, with a very comfortable bed and a modern and clean room. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The location, right in the center of the village, was perfect for exploring the area.

As women traveling alone, we felt very safe and welcomed by the friendly staff. The breakfast selection was delicious with a variety of options, especially the smoked salmon. The room was clean and the shower was great. The hotel is conveniently located within a short walk to the beach in a lovely area.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, with the rooms and public areas spotlessly clean. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a comfortable dining area and a well-stocked bar. The location was ideal, as it was very close to beautiful beaches and in close proximity to a footpath for easy access to the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

We definitely got our money's worth at Thornham Rooms At The Chequers. The room was spotless and the staff treated us with utmost kindness and helpfulness. The location was amazing, and we loved how dog-friendly the hotel was.

The morning meal could have been better with an extra staff member to help out at breakfast.

The attic bedroom was adorable with a divine duvet cover and a comfortable bed to sink into. The spacious bathroom had a deep tub, wide shower, and an oversize showerhead. The breakfast was delightful and varied, with the best fresh scrambled eggs I have ever had. The bar was well stocked with local ales and the menu was modern and fairly priced. The hotel was perfectly located for birding in the Norfolk north coast, RSPB Titchwell, and Thornham harbour area. The staff were friendly and the hotel had recently been refurbished to a high standard.

I stayed in a lovely hotel in a gorgeous area. It was located right on the beach, so I had easy access to enjoy the beautiful views and take walks along the coastline. The room was well-appointed and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast was delicious. it was a great experience in a stunning location.

The lack of a dedicated reception area was a bit confusing and made it difficult to find someone to help with any concerns or questions.

The bedroom was spacious and chic, and had all the necessary amenities. We couldn't resist trying the small plates as appetizers, which turned out to be the perfect start to our meal at the restaurant. Breakfast boasted a well-curated menu that left nothing to be desired. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm service from the staff.

While the service was friendly, we experienced a few too many hiccups. the room had several broken features, ranging from latches on the windows to a persistent security light.

The location was perfect for birding, near RSPB Titchwell. Well-stocked bar with local ales and good menu. Nicely furnished bedroom with a delightful bed. Flexible breakfast times and delicious offerings. Clean, high-quality room with amazing ensuite and toiletries. Good value for money in a lovely, quiet village with its own beach and pubs.

Located right in the centre of the village, Thornham Rooms At The Chequers is the perfect spot for birdwatching enthusiasts. Situated close to areas known for their diverse range of bird species, it offers a convenient base for nature lovers. the inn is just a stone's throw away from the footpath, providing easy access to scenic walks. Stepping inside, you can feel the charm of this authentic old pub, with its impressive building and comfortable rooms. The spacious bathrooms and super comfy beds ensure a restful stay. The friendly and accommodating staff provide excellent service, and the delicious breakfast is a real treat.

The footpath adjacent to the inn can be a bit noisy due to the reasonably busy road nearby.

We had a fantastic experience at Rooms At The Chequers. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They even prepared our room before our arrival, with little touches like having the fan on, the radio playing, and champagne on ice. The room and the rest of the hotel were clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The food was excellent, with a wide range of options for breakfast and delicious evening meals. As a vegetarian, I was impressed with the flexibility and tastiness of the dishes. our stay was absolutely excellent in every way. Many thanks to all the staff!
