This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the well-stocked fridge in the room to the stunning balcony with views of the mountains. The rooms were beautifully decorated with all the little extra touches that made it feel like a home away from home. And let's not forget the breakfast, with its fresh homemade scones, granola, and bread. I couldn't have asked for a better start to the day.

We had the Front Room with a king bed at Cherryhill Lodge, and it was incredibly spacious. The bathroom had a rain shower with a fast flow, making it a luxurious experience. The hosts, John, Patricia, and Julia, were warm and welcoming. Their adorable dog, Daisy, was an added bonus. We enjoyed a delicious veggie fry breakfast with plenty of food, including homemade scones and great coffee. The property is located at the foothills of the Mourne Mountains, and the views are absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this lodge for a delightful stay.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view of the mountains. the hosts were incredibly attentive and made us feel extremely welcome. the breakfast was hands down the best breakfast I've had while traveling, with homemade pancakes that were to die for. the location was ideal, with easy access to the town center and nearby attractions.

The staff at this hotel were warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The rooms were clean and tidy, and I was impressed by the attention to detail. And let's not forget the breathtaking mountain views from the room - truly magnificent! The breakfast served at this hotel was a real treat, with freshly baked homemade bread, scones, and even homemade granola. I couldn't have asked for a more delicious start to my day.

The hosts went above and beyond, even providing a bottle of Prosseco and a card for our anniversary. We felt at home and the little touches made our stay extra special. The freshly baked bread and scones were a delicious treat, and the accommodation had a sun room for guests to enjoy. The WiFi worked well and the hosts were always on hand to assist with any requests. The stunning grounds and garden were a perfect spot to relax. one of the best places we stayed at during our Northern Ireland tour.

The only improvement I would suggest for breakfast is to have a wider selection of options available.

Enjoyed a lovely stay with my partner for New Year. the view of the mountains was stunning and the breakfast was truly delicious, with homemade bread and cakes, and a range of freshly prepared options. the owners were very welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home.

The location was a little bit further from the town, which meant a bit of a walk down to the seafront for shops and bars. Plus, the last 50m or so are without street lights on a country lane, so it's advisable to have a torch when walking back in the dark.

The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is close to the town centre and offers lovely surroundings. The rooms are well-maintained and quiet, with excellent showers and a selection of toiletries provided. The hosts are extremely welcoming and go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast is delicious, with homemade treats such as bread, scones, and granola. Guests can also enjoy tea and coffee facilities in their rooms, along with fresh brownies and a shared lounge area with a fridge. The view of the mountains adds to the overall charm of the property.

Some guests may find it difficult to adjust to the shared lounge area, as it may lack privacy compared to having separate social spaces in individual rooms.

The room itself was spacious and had plenty of hanging room for clothes. The hair dryer was efficient and fresh milk was available for coffee. I can't say enough positive things about my stay at Cherryhill Lodge and would love to visit again.

Guests can also indulge in a delectable dining experience at the nearby Brunels restaurant. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with the added advantage of a mini fridge and sunroom. The homemade breakfast, including delightful treats like freshly squeezed orange juice and homemade jams, is simply unmatched.
