The service at this hotel was honestly excellent. the staff had an excellent attitude and they were all very friendly and helpful. the breakfast service was fast and the food, being cooked as required, was hot and tasty. the room we stayed in was superb. It was spotlessly clean and had modern, tasteful decor. the space was great and the furniture and decor were amazing.

Our room overlooked a busy road, which was okay during the week. However, on a weekend, there was a noisy takeaway opposite, and cars passing by until the early hours.

As a budget traveler, I loved the affordable prices and excellent quality of the rooms at The Clifton. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is also conveniently located near lovely parks, the beach, and a variety of dining options.

Had an amazing Xmas at this hotel! the staff were really welcoming and accommodating. I loved the fact that the hotel was located very close to the beach and some great restaurants. We didn't need to worry about parking as there was plenty of street parking available. the best part was the meals - the breakfast had so much choice and was deliciously presented. We even stayed for lunch, and the menu was extensive. the room was elegant and spotless. the hotel was perfect for my family, especially for my children.

The double and single family room was a tad small, but we managed to fit in. the only other problem was that the main bed was a 3/4 size rather than a double size, which threw us off a little.

Noise from the street in the morning was a slight annoyance.
