My boyfriend and I recently stayed at a charming farmhouse in a beautiful location near Bude. The en-suite room was impeccably clean and had all the modern amenities we needed, like a big flat screen TV and coffee making facilities. The host, Julie, was exceptional and provided us with great recommendations for places to visit nearby. Her delicious breakfast, made with locally sourced ingredients, was a highlight of our stay. Julie and her husband Richard were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We can't wait to return in the warmer months!

We also enjoyed the delicious food, especially the pack lunch which was exceptional. this hotel provided great value for money and we would definitely visit again.

Mislead about private en suite.

I had such a wonderful experience staying at this beautiful rural farmhouse. From the moment I arrived, the hosts were amazing, providing us with helpful tips and making sure we were well taken care of. Finding the property was a breeze with the help of Waze, and the hosts even prepared a delicious pack lunch for us on short notice! The room was excellent - clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the sea. The shared bathroom felt private and was always kept clean. And as a cat lover, I absolutely adored the adorable cats on the property. I will definitely be visiting again in the future!

Shower had drainage issues.

I had a fantastic stay at the Rural Farmhouse in Poughill. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was also spacious and had an over the bath shower, which was great. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed. The location was beautiful, with tranquil surroundings and beautiful gardens to enjoy. Plus, the food at the property was top-notch, with a splendid meal on my first night. I had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

There was limited availability for dinner options nearby, so I had to drive a long distance to find other restaurants. However, the food at the property itself was so fantastic that it made up for this inconvenience.

Got great value for money with a cosy, comfortable room and lovely views from the dining room. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, even offering a hot drink on arrival and turning on a light before I returned at night. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared, with a great range of options.

The location of this B&B is absolutely stunning. Set in a beautiful and quiet area, it offers breathtaking views that will instantly captivate you. The room itself is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a kettle, cups, glasses, and a hairdryer. The hosts are incredibly friendly and approachable, making you feel right at home. You can even enjoy a lovely view of the garden from your room. The cleanliness and tidiness of the place are commendable.

The lack of a larger fridge in the room may be inconvenient for those who enjoy snacking on protein foods.

During our Christmas stay at this hotel, we really enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The beautiful Christmas decorations added a festive touch to the cozy guest lounge and rooms. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect - nestled in the countryside but still close enough to the beaches for a scenic walk. We also loved the fact that we could interact with the friendly house cats and even feed the cattle in the farmland.

There were a couple of aspects that could have been improved. we would have appreciated if the host had provided clear instructions in advance regarding check-in procedures outside of the valid hours.

We loved being able to cuddle with the friendly kitties and enjoyed feeding the cattle in the farmland. The guest lounge was cozy and inviting, and we had a great night's sleep in the comfortable bed. The ensuite bathroom had a powerful shower and was spacious. Although we didn't eat at the farmhouse, the smell of the food each morning and evening was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this farmhouse for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you!
