The lack of a grab rail in the bathroom, which would have been helpful for elderly guests like myself. there was no shower mat provided, making the floor of the bath a bit slippery while showering.

Located right in the centre of Hawes, the hotel offers easy access to everything you need. The rooms are nice and clean, with comfortable beds. The staff is professional, friendly, and very helpful. The breakfast is delicious, with a good range of options to choose from. Plus, if you're lucky, you can enjoy a great view from your bedroom at the rear of the property. it's a fantastic place to stay and make the most of your trip to this charming town.

The only minor downside was that the bed in our room was a bit squeaky.

Additionally, we enjoyed a lovely evening meal at the pub owned by the hotel, with the added bonus of a 10% discount. We got great value for our money and the room was really comfortable. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the main high street with gorgeous views of the dales from every window. Peter and his wife were lovely, and the staff were friendly and personable. the rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. the highlight was the superb food we had in the hotel's restaurant. We especially loved the breakfast, which offered high-quality, nutritious options like linseed and yogurt. We were also pleased to find butter provided, as we prefer it over polyunsaturated spreads. We can't wait to stay at Cocketts again!

Despite the warm weather, the room remained cool with the help of a fan provided. The location was perfect, right in the center of the village, close to shops, bars, and restaurants. The staff, especially the trainee, were helpful and pleasant. it was an excellent base for exploring the area.
