I recently stayed at a charming hotel in the lovely town of Selkirk and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The room I stayed in was cozy and immaculately clean, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional food served at the hotel's restaurant. The dishes were flavorful and beautifully presented, leaving me thoroughly satisfied. The friendly and attentive staff added to the overall positive experience. Despite a few minor drawbacks such as the limited parking space and lack of view from the room, I would still highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable stay. I had a fantastic time and I'm sure others will too.

We stayed in a Small King Room with our two dogs. The room was incredibly tidy and clean, and we appreciated the powerful shower. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff at the hotel were extremely nice and helpful. The Wi-fi was excellent, and the room had a lovely chaise-longue that was really comfortable. The hotel's location on the High Street was perfect for our needs. we had a lovely stay at this quaint, old building and would highly recommend it.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Selkirk and had a great experience. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the center of town, overlooking local pubs. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a queen size bed and a large, modern en-suite bathroom. The attention to detail was impressive, making my stay very enjoyable. And let's not forget the breakfast - delicious, especially the salmon!

The County was a fantastic choice for our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shower facilities were excellent. We appreciated having two chairs and a table in our room, which made it convenient for us. The staff at the hotel were polite and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Despite the limited facilities due to the ongoing restrictions, the hotel made every effort to prioritize the safety of their guests. We have stayed here before and will definitely choose The County again for our future visits. we highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at a hotel right in the centre of town, which was perfect for exploring. The room was spotless and very comfortable, with plenty of storage space. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection to choose from. We also loved the convenience of off-street parking through the arch at the back.

The central heating was very erratic and the carpet had quite a few stains.

We booked a one night stay at the County in a great location on the high street. the room was modern, well-equipped, and we even received a free upgrade upon check-in. the breakfast was delicious and we couldn't fault anything. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights as motorcyclists and were pleased with our stay. The rooms were clean and had great amenities like an excellent shower, 2 chairs, and a table. The staff provided attentive service and the breakfast was superb. Despite the bar and restaurant being closed, we understood the circumstances and appreciated the hotel prioritizing guest safety. We will definitely visit again, as the hotel's location was ideal for exploring the borders and we know the food will be fantastic when they reopen.

I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel in the town center of Selkirk. Oliver, the host, was perfect and went above and beyond. The breakfast was truly wonderful, and the room was brilliant with a separate area and writing desk. There was even a separate area with tables and chairs where we could bring our own food and alcohol. I was pleasantly surprised to find a proper-sized mug for the coffee and tea facilities, something I rarely see in other hotels or B&Bs.

Clean rooms and great service. the hotel was conveniently located near important amenities. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast selection with a wide variety of options to choose from. the staff were accommodating, friendly, and helpful.

The street noise was a little distracting at times, and the rooms could benefit from better soundproofing. Unfortunately, the decor is a bit outdated and could use some updating.
