I had an incredible stay at this hotel. The staff were young, friendly, and very well trained, making me feel extremely welcome. The location was peaceful and the gardens were lovely. The interior was beautiful and welcoming, and I particularly loved the private chapel. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and beautifully designed, with high-quality linen. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and both the afternoon tea and breakfast were delightful. The manager and all the staff were professional, friendly, and helpful.

Long walks in the open countryside were a great way to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings.

The rooms could use some updating as they appeared a bit dated and in need of a good clean. Grime is not what you expect in a 5-star establishment.

The room was comfortable and the grounds were stunning, perfect for a short walk or some fishing at the Lochan. The open fire in the cozy lounge was a great place to unwind with a good book. The cocktail bar served delicious soups and sandwiches, complemented by attentive staff. Dinner at Chez Roux was exceptional, followed by a relaxing evening in front of the open fires. The breakfast choices, especially the cooked breakfast, were something special. the hotel provided the most exceptional experience and is among the best in Scotland.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a smiling front-of-house staff and my bags were promptly taken to my room. the suite I was given was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the grounds. Despite the cold weather, I still enjoyed numerous cocktails in the bar and had an excellent dinner at the renowned Roux restaurant on the premises. the evening entertainment, featuring a talented harpist, added to the delightful atmosphere. the billiards room was also a great place to relax, although I was the only one there. the staff were friendly, respectful, and went above and beyond to make my anniversary celebration special. the breakfast served in my room was delicious, especially the eggs Benedict. I would highly recommend this hotel for a perfect short getaway.
