Stayed at the lovely hotel for our anniversary. Bed was perfect for my fibromyalgia. Food was incredible, beautifully cooked, and presented. Staff went above and beyond. Excellent location near the castle and quay. The toiletries were wonderful and the breakfast was excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The garden room was clean, warm, and had a comfortable bed. Nice view of castle opposite. I would stay here again.

We had a great stay at this charming hotel right in the heart of a beautiful village. The breakfast was delicious and we even had the option to read a newspaper, which added a nice touch. Our garden room was clean, warm, and had a lovely view of the castle. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the little terrace where we could sit outside. The hotel staff, especially John at the front desk, were friendly and helpful. The ambience was relaxing, and the bar area was comfortable and reasonably priced. We also enjoyed a faultless dinner in the restaurant. we would highly recommend Crown And Castle.

Located right next to Orford castle, this hotel offers stunning views of the surrounding area. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with thoughtful amenities such as fresh milk and large mugs. The bathrooms are spacious, with a large walk-in shower and plenty of storage space. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout the stay. The breakfast offers a good selection of quality options, including avocado on sourdough and a full English breakfast.

The water pressure in the shower could be improved, as it was feeble and not very warm.

The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making our stay more enjoyable. the food at the hotel was fabulous, with a great menu and delicious options. - the hotel is situated in a quiet and relaxing location, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

The service seemed to have declined since my last visit, with staff members having their lunch in the restaurant instead of offering us a seat in the bar. Despite being promised an email from management to address the issues, I never received any follow-up, suggesting a lack of care from the present owners.

our recent stay at the c&c in orford was exceptional. from the warm welcome by daisy at reception to the impeccable service by the guy at the restaurant, everything exceeded our expectations. the room was cozy and clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. the location offered a beautiful view of the castle and peaceful walks in the area. we can't wait to come back.

Bathroom cleanliness could be improved.

Cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, with spacious and well-furnished suites. Excellent breakfast selection with a wide variety of choices. Friendly and helpful staff who provided information on the local area. Fantastic location with beautiful views of the estuary and the iconic castle.

My partner and I had a last-minute trip to Suffolk and ended up staying at this charming hotel. We were a bit hesitant at first, but we were pleasantly surprised by our stay. We opted for the suite and although we couldn't enjoy the balcony due to the weather, the room was spacious and well-maintained. The only minor issue was with the shower, which didn't deliver the power we expected.

The wine list was extensive and our bottle of Beaujolais arrived at the perfect temperature.

Well-designed room with rough sisal carpet, but overall a comfortable stay. Stylish hotel in a charming village location, perfect for a quiet weekend getaway.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The newly decorated room was bright and had great blinds for the window. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The drink facilities in the room were top-notch, including a small flask of 'proper' milk for hot drinks. The breakfast was exceptional, served in beautiful surroundings. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. I was impressed with the customer focus, product quality, and general ambience of this hotel. This hotel surpassed my expectations in so many ways. the location is simply stunning, with beautiful views of a nearby castle. I loved being away from the main restaurant area and enjoyed the peacefulness down by the quay. Secondly, the service here is top-notch. The staff were friendly, informal yet well-organized, and really made me feel welcome. The attention to detail, from the comfortable bed to the basic amenities, was superb. Lastly, I have to mention the breakfast. The meat was absolutely luscious, and it was the perfect start to my day.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area close to a castle and with nice walks to do around. the staff was friendly and attentive to guests. They offered warm blankets for the cold weather and hot tea.

We paid big money for the new year’s eve package, but the quality of the food didn’t match with the price. Some dishes were cold and others were overcooked.

The refurbishment was incredible. Superb location and friendly staff. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Great atmosphere and wonderful service.
