Had a fantastic stay at a charming inn near Lake Windermere. The old building has been beautifully modernized, and my room was incredibly comfortable. The view from my room overlooking the hills was breathtaking. The staff were friendly and full of helpful information. The breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options. The location was great, with a nice walk down to catch the ferry to Bowness-on-Windermere. I highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like a clock in the bathroom and a heated mirror.

Moreover, the room was luxurious and provided enhanced comfort. From the massive, comfy bed to the lovely deep bath, everything was designed to make my stay enjoyable. I also appreciated the little touches, like the tin of doggie treats on the bar, which made this place truly pet-friendly.

loved our stay in near sawrey, but the cuckoo brow inn exceeded our expectations! staff so friendly, room clean with fresh bed linen, and the shower was amazing! beautiful location too. definitely recommended.

We had an amazing value for our money at the Cuckoo Brow Inn. The room was beautifully decorated with top-notch fittings and always kept immaculately clean. The location was exceptional, with plenty of scenic walks right outside the Inn. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

The breakfast, while exceptional in terms of choices for fish-eating vegetarians like myself, could have had a few more non-fish veggie/vegan options. But, it didn't detract from our overall experience.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. the food service was efficient and the food itself was decent and satisfying after a long journey. the clean and comfortable rooms were a delight to stay in, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. the great breakfast choices and the option to bring our chocolate Labrador along were other aspects that we truly appreciated.

the menu seemed to have some inaccuracies, as certain dishes were not actually available. Despite these minor setbacks, the overall experience was enjoyable and we would consider staying here again in the future.

The location was brilliant, close to Grizedale forest for a range of enjoyable walks and activities like "Go Ape" for the older kids. It was also close to the ferry landing, making it convenient to explore surrounding areas. The hotel facilities were great, with a welcoming fire in the entrance hall and cozy log burners in the bar areas. The room was spacious, clean, and had a big TV opposite the comfortable bed. The staff were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome throughout my stay.

Nothing bad to say, my experience was absolutely amazing.
