Very special place. Comfortable room, very clean and well equipped with quality items. Loved the balcony right on the water's edge. Hosts are a lovely family who do everything with generosity, warmth, and care. Very tasty, hearty breakfasts with top quality produce. Wish we could have stayed longer. Can't recommend this gem of a place highly enough. Being amidst such natural beauty truly made our stay unforgettable.

During my recent business trip, my director selected Double-Gate Farm Bed & Breakfast, and I must say it was a delightful experience. the welcoming staff, exceptionally clean rooms, and comfortable bedding made for a truly enjoyable stay. the included breakfast was delicious, and the option to bring our dog along was greatly appreciated. the location, although remote, offered a peaceful atmosphere, and the adjacent restaurant was a convenient dining option. the accommodation catered well to our needs, and the warm hospitality of the host, Debbie, added a personal touch to our stay. the shared sitting room was a nice bonus, providing a space to relax outside of the bedroom. Car parking was sometimes limited but manageable, with Debbie going out of her way to accommodate us during busier times.

I appreciated the attention to detail, like special arrangements made for my husband's sight loss and our dog. We had a lovely romantic escape in the countryside. the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions and the river running alongside the property added to the peaceful atmosphere. the complimentary toiletries and comfortable bedding were great and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast served each morning. a cozy and charming stay.

We did have some difficulties finding the property using our sat nav and the communication regarding our lunch order could have been better. We did experience some lighting in the room that was quite bright at night, which was a bit inconvenient.

Chillin' at the farm with my squad was epic. Hit up Glasto & Street, then vibed at the rad pub next door. Breakfast options were on point, and the modern digs with USB chargers were clutch for keepin' our gadgets juiced up. the crew there was super cool & made our stay pure vibes!

Wish they had more late-night activities to keep the party going, like a bonfire or game night for us night owls!
