Our stay at Hotel Du Vin was wonderful. The cozy room was decorated with taste and the top-quality breakfast had freshly squeezed orange juice. Despite small issues with the room, the staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.

Located just off George IV bridge, Hotel Du Vin offers a convenient location, only a 10-minute walk from the Royal Mile. It is also close to the recently revamped National Museum of Scotland, allowing easy access to all the main areas of the city. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, with luxurious amenities such as a roll-top bath and walk-in drench shower. The comfortable bed and high-quality bedding ensure a good night's sleep.

The windows in the rooms may not open widely for fast fresh air.

This place is perfectly located in the heart of the old town, with plenty of attractions within walking distance. The staff here are friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The rooms were clean and had all the necessary amenities for a luxurious stay. The bar and lounge area were a great place to unwind after a long day of exploring. We especially loved the small balcony in our room, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee and taking in the interesting views.

The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a refreshing drink. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities we could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We also enjoyed the option of having breakfast in our room, which was a lovely touch. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard and garden area, where we enjoyed relaxing and taking in the views. we had a truly special experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to others.

We had a blast at this place! The location was perfect, up on a hill on the edge of the Old Town, so we could easily walk to several areas of interest. The service was top-notch - room service, dry cleaning, and housekeeping were all excellent. We loved the welcome drink and the room amenities were great - ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a sitting area with garden furniture. The free toiletries were a nice touch, and we appreciated having an electric kettle, television with am/fm alarm clock, and telephone in our room.

Loved the unique history of the building and the luxurious decor. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, giving us great tips on where to go out. the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was stunning, with a fantastic shower. the location was perfect, just a short distance from the train station and close to everything we wanted to see. Plus, the bar downstairs was a great place to relax after a long day of exploring.

The lighting in the room was also quite dim, making it hard to see and read. these were minor inconveniences that didn't detract too much from our enjoyable stay.

The hotel was clean and had excellent facilities. The parking was convenient. The location was close to all the sights and the historical center, including the grassmarket. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I had a truly luxurious stay at Hotel Du Vin. The room was incredibly comfortable and clean, and the location was brilliant. The staff were friendly and efficient, making sure I felt well taken care of. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous, with a great selection of delicious food.

We stayed during New Year's Eve and the hotel offered complimentary champagne and canapés on arrival as well as a complimentary breakfast on New Year's Day. the location was perfect, just a short walk from major attractions and restaurants. We also enjoyed the cozy fireplace in the lobby.

The room was quite noisy and not well insulated, making it difficult to sleep. the heating system was also overly warm and couldn't be adjusted which made it uncomfortable.
