From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The cozy Christmas tree and friendly staff created a magical atmosphere. We enjoyed a delicious meal by the log fire in the evening. The rooms were incredibly cozy and the morning breakfast was tasty with quality local produce. The location was perfect and the free car parking was a bonus. Sitting by the stream on the outdoor seating was a lovely experience.

We visited Duke Of Wellington for a night and it was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful, handling any issues efficiently. The breakfast, sourced from a local butcher, was delicious. The hotel had character and a great central location. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the views of the river and old mill were lovely. a fantastic stay in a fabulous location.

However, during my short stay, I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, conveniently located. As a pensioner travelling alone, I appreciated the friendly staff, who made me feel like part of their family. The locals at the pub were also warm and welcoming, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the breakfast was excellent, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of charming villages.
