The location of this hotel is fantastic, within walking distance of the main attractions and just steps away from the front. The service provided by the staff was excellent, with a friendly and personable welcome. The rooms were upgraded to a king with a sea view, and the balcony offered a fantastic view of the surroundings. The breakfast served in the hotel was delicious, and the views of the bay added to the overall experience.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The location was perfect for me and my wife, as we both have disabilities. We were able to easily walk to the main attractions, such as the seafront and shopping areas, right from the front door. The hotel facilities were very clean and well-maintained. There was adequate parking available for our convenience. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.

mariners house was a delightful surprise! after a previous stay in scarborough, i didn't expect much. but this time, the breakfast was amazing, the staff were friendly, and the sea views were superb. special shoutout to alison for the great service!

Just returned from a weekend break at Mariners House. From the warm, friendly welcome to the stunning sea view room, our stay was fantastic. The property was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was tasty with excellent service. The room had complimentary toiletries, a big shower, and a lovely selection of hot drinks. Parking was sorted quickly, and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Can't wait to come back with my dog!

The location of the hotel is excellent, with easy access down to the seafront either down the road or via steps right next to the hotel. The views from some of the rooms were outstanding, making the stay worthwhile. Additionally, the staff were friendly and the price was reasonable.

The breakfast time period was not long enough, and having to pay an additional fee for breakfast on top of the room price was expensive.

Great central location and homely place. Deluxe room with a fabulous view across the harbour and beach from the balcony. The room was large and clean with nice pictures on the walls. There was a fridge in the room, which was great and the hospitality tray was well stocked.

The waiter didn't seem to understand our dietary request and the quality of the food was subpar. The cleanliness of the breakfast area was also lacking.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, with easy access to the beach and town. The dining room was lovely, and it was easy to find.

Not worth the price. The water pressure was poor and the sink tap had no hot water.
