I had a wonderful time at the hotel, enjoying the beautiful gardens while sipping on a glass of wine. The room I stayed in, Room 5, was spacious and clean with a large bathroom that had both a bath and a separate shower. The bar area served delicious and value-for-money burgers. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Felt like being at home, with no reason to complain.

The hotel was very easy to find just off the main road and had an impressive exterior. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful four poster bed. the bathroom was clean and had both a shower and a separate bath. the hotel bar had comfortable seating and a nice atmosphere, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. the staff, especially our waitress Michelle, were friendly and provided good service. the meals in the restaurant were delicious and reasonably priced. the breakfast had a wide variety of options and the quality was superb.

The hotel turned us away from the restaurant and we had to eat in a nearby bar with a limited menu. the room we stayed in was not up to the standard we expected for the price we paid.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location between England and Scotland was perfect for our onward travel. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. We had no trouble finding parking and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good choice of dishes and the quality was excellent.

Lovely location for exploring Northumberland's beautiful scenery and charming towns. Excellent breakfast and preferential rates at the Garage Spa next door. Friendly staff and great service.

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and polite. The room was exceptionally clean, with an excellent en-suite. The hotel facilities were top-notch. The breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant were delicious, and the staff provided great service. The bar had a nice selection of red wine, and the wine list in the restaurant was extensive. The location was very convenient, being close to the motorway and only a 10-minute drive from the city. I also enjoyed the nice walks around the hotel.

We had a lovely warm welcome at this hotel, which was easily accessed from the A66 highway. The room we stayed in was beautiful and comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities and a spacious en suite bathroom. The highlight of our stay was dining at Gilroys restaurant on site, where we enjoyed an exquisite meal served by attentive staff. The breakfast in the morning was also impressive, with great quality local produce. We also enjoyed taking a walk around the nice garden area.

The exterior door in our annexe room kept banging during the night due to the wind, which was a bit disruptive.

We were welcomed with a refreshing drink upon arrival, and we were delighted to find that they also provide amenities for our furry friend. The room itself was well-appointed, with ironing facilities and a sitting area for added comfort. We also enjoyed spending time on the terrace, which had comfortable garden furniture. The hotel provided us with free toiletries and even a washing machine for our convenience. The dining experience was top-notch, with a restaurant that offered a delicious breakfast and dinner menu. The bar/lounge area was a great place to unwind in the evenings. the hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of location, service, and room amenities.

Disappointing room.

We recently enjoyed a romantic escape to a charming hotel in the countryside. the hot tub and spa experience was exceptional and we felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. the stunning gardens were a highlight and provided a peaceful retreat for us to enjoy each other's company. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We appreciated the thoughtful touches in our room, including fresh towels and a comfortable bed.

The restaurant did not meet our expectations and we found the food to be mediocre. We were also frustrated to discover that the hot tubs were not available during the week, which was not clearly communicated to us before our arrival.
