Great shower, perfect for a refreshing start to the day. Convenient car parking, just a stone's throw away from the accommodation. Friendly staff who were always willing to assist. Welcoming atmosphere for dogs in the bar and bistro. Delicious food served in the lovely bar and restaurant. Adjacent spa provided value for money relaxation option on a rainy day. Felt like being at home, with no reason to complain.

The hotel was very easy to find just off the main road and had an impressive exterior. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful four poster bed. the bathroom was clean and had both a shower and a separate bath. the hotel bar had comfortable seating and a nice atmosphere, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. the staff, especially our waitress Michelle, were friendly and provided good service. the meals in the restaurant were delicious and reasonably priced. the breakfast had a wide variety of options and the quality was superb.

The hotel turned us away from the restaurant and we had to eat in a nearby bar with a limited menu. the room we stayed in was not up to the standard we expected for the price we paid.

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and polite. The room was exceptionally clean, with an excellent en-suite. The hotel facilities were top-notch. The breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant were delicious, and the staff provided great service. The bar had a nice selection of red wine, and the wine list in the restaurant was extensive. The location was very convenient, being close to the motorway and only a 10-minute drive from the city. I also enjoyed the nice walks around the hotel.

We had a lovely warm welcome at this hotel, which was easily accessed from the A66 highway. The room we stayed in was beautiful and comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities and a spacious en suite bathroom. The highlight of our stay was dining at Gilroys restaurant on site, where we enjoyed an exquisite meal served by attentive staff. The breakfast in the morning was also impressive, with great quality local produce. We also enjoyed taking a walk around the nice garden area.

The exterior door in our annexe room kept banging during the night due to the wind, which was a bit disruptive.
