The meals were delicious, especially the breakfast croissants and pastries. the rooms were comfortable and we were able to stay together as a group. the location was great, with easy access to the town center and beautiful walking routes.

They were located below the main hotel level and were very small and dark. the decor in these rooms, particularly the dark purple color, made it feel like we were in a basement.

This hotel was a hidden gem for our short stay. Its location, just a 5-minute walk from the town centre and south beach, was perfect for exploring and going on walks. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and attended to, despite the current restrictions. The rooms on the upper floors, with their sea view and vibrant purple walls, added a touch of charm and made our stay even more enjoyable. And let's not forget the highlight of our mornings - the delicious and satisfying breakfast served in the brand new restaurant.

We had a fabulous stay at a lovely hotel near the beach. The room was spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was absolutely superb, with plenty of delicious choices. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

They made my stay enjoyable and relaxing. the room I stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and clean. the bed was especially comfortable, with plenty of soft pillows. the shower had good water pressure, making it a refreshing experience. the hotel's location was perfect for my needs, allowing easy access to Dunbar and the surrounding areas. Although I didn't dine at the restaurant or use any other facilities, I heard the food was terrific and good value for money.

I recently stayed at Dunmuir Hotel for a few nights while visiting friends. The hotel is conveniently located near the railway station and Dunbar town. The staff at the hotel were friendly, polite, and very helpful. The breakfast they served was delicious, and the hotel overall was clean and presentable. The beds in my room were unbelievably comfortable, with soft and warm quilts. The room upgrade I was given was spacious, clean, and warm. The reception staff were professional and knowledgeable about the area. I will definitely go back when I'm in the area again.

Great food and attentive staff. We also enjoyed the convenient location near the sea and town center. Plus, the price was reasonable compared to other places in the area.

Our experience was marred by the outdated and musty room. the decor was old fashioned and the mattress was lumpy.

The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the main attractions of the area while enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. It is conveniently situated near Dunbar golf course, allowing easy access for golf enthusiasts. Additionally, the hotel is just a short stroll down to the small harbor, perfect for scenic walks. Moreover, being next to the railway station provides convenient transportation options for guests.

The decor in some parts of the hotel, apart from the restaurant and bar, may be considered outdated or "old school" by some guests.

The value for money at Dunmuir was excellent - we got more than expected! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the location was great. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We were pleasantly surprised by the mouth-watering selection of dishes at the Sunday Carvery. Unlike other places, this hotel served up a delectable feast with perfectly seasoned roasts, flavorful vegetables, and delightful starters and desserts. They even went above and beyond to cater to our young daughter, providing her with a fantastic kid-friendly meal. The atmosphere was great, and the hotel's attention to detail truly made our Mother's Day celebration memorable. We will definitely be returning for future occasions, and likely even sooner. this gem of a hotel exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it.

Food was stunning, Wine even better - We had a memorable dining experience at the hotel. the prawn cocktail and pate were delicious starters, and the Belhaven Steak Pie was made to perfection. the recommended wine by the owner was a hit, despite the pesky headache it caused. It's great to find a place that offers top-notch food and a wide selection of wines.

Room location and noise - Unfortunately, our room was in the basement, which was not ideal. It was small, dark, and noisy, with disruption from both above and the neighboring room.

The hotel offered a special continental breakfast for us early in the morning, which was a thoughtful gesture. The night porter who served our breakfast went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The room was lovely, comfortable, and clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home.
