I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic kitchen and dining area that I discovered hidden behind room number 4. The rooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful and went out of his way to accommodate us. The online drink ordering option was efficient, and the staff were all friendly. The massive beautiful bathroom was a treat, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel was also dog-friendly, which is a plus. Despite the small car park, the room space offered at such a reasonable price made up for it. The hospitality of the owners was excellent, and the additional features of a small lounge area and a fully fitted kitchen/utility area were a bonus. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the location was perfect for exploring the Rhondda Valley.

Although there was no mirror in the room or bathroom and no bin in the room, these were minor inconveniences. The noise from the pub and the broken shower holder were also slight drawbacks.
