I had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse. The location was perfect, with easy access to the city centre by bus or a beautiful walk along the Water of Leith. The house itself was gorgeous and my room was spacious and comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend this guesthouse for a wonderful stay in Edinburgh.

There were also nearby amenities like a supermarket and cafes/restaurants. the room itself was a good size, clean, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a TV with streaming apps for entertainment.

Worst aspects of my xmas stay: Unfortunately, there were a few issues that marred my experience. the check-in process was impersonal and we didn't see any staff until the next morning.

We loved the cleanliness of the hotel, the convenient location close to Murrayfield and Haymarket, the easy access to transportation with regular buses and the tram service into the city center, and the delicious breakfast.

We loved staying here! The location was perfect, in a nice area that was easy to get to all the sights. Housekeeping made sure the room was always clean and tidy, and the staff were happy to help us with any request we had. The room amenities were a great touch, with everything we needed - tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, and free Wi-Fi in the rooms. We also enjoyed sitting in the garden furniture and taking in the views.

Good size of the room, and breakfast was good with generous portions. We also appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine and the box of chocolates left in our room as a welcoming gift. the location was central, and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby to explore.

The bathroom was a bit dirty, and the shower had mouldy grout that made it feel unhygienic. We also found some hair on the bathroom floor and a used towel on the bathroom hook.

We loved the warm welcome from Murdo, the owner, and enjoyed chatting with him during our stay. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast spread had a great variety. Archie, the dog, was an adorable bonus! Leaving our car in the private parking was very convenient for our day trip to Edinburgh Castle. we would definitely recommend this charming B&B. Overall I highly recommend this B&B.
