I gotta say, the value for money at this hotel was excellent! The room was so comfortable and cozy, with a super comfy bed and all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, with beautiful grounds and great views. The staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly and welcoming.

From the young waitresses in the bar to the mature lady serving breakfast, everyone was friendly and accommodating. the fresh flower displays on the tables added a lovely touch to the dining experience. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was conveniently located on a short bus route to the seaside town of Scarborough, making it easy to explore the area.

There were a few negatives during my stay. the decor of the hotel was dated and in need of an update.

During the Pickering War weekend, we stayed at East Ayton Lodge for two days. The hotel provided good service, with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was very good and the young staff at breakfast were attentive. Our room was spacious, offering a pleasant garden view and a large screen TV. The hotel itself has a charming character and is surrounded by leafy grounds. It was conveniently located near country walks and the coast.

It was great that I could choose my eating time, so there was no overcrowding. The bedroom I stayed in was a superior garden room with lovely views.
