We booked this country house for our 14th wedding anniversary and because it was close to where my husband proposed. The rooms were lovely, clean, and well-decorated with tea-making facilities. The views were truly spectacular, just breathtaking. Angela, the staff member, was extremely helpful and moved us to a different room with a lake view. The dinner in the evening was excellent, and the waiting staff couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was sublime, beautifully cooked and presented with freshly squeezed orange juice and a fantastic buffet.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the lake and countryside. The hotel staff were friendly and engaging, providing excellent service throughout our visit. The breakfast was fabulous, with a variety of delicious options. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening, and it was excellent. The food was cooked to perfection, especially the lamb. The room we stayed in was lovely, with quaint furnishings and a small ensuite. The shower was very powerful, which was a nice bonus. this hotel provided a wonderful experience in terms of cleanliness, facilities, location, breakfast, and staff.

We had a fantastic stay at Ees Wyke Country House Guest House. The value for money was great, and our room, Red Wyke, was beautifully furnished and felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring the Lake District, with stunning views and easy access to Esthwaite Lake and surrounding areas. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home, particularly Collette and the lovely lady from Yorkshire who took care of us with personal attention and remembered our orders.

The breakfast selection could have been better with more variety.

We stumbled upon Ees Wyke Country House Guest House and it turned out to be an incredible find! the location is perfect, situated overlooking a serene lake and countryside. the room we stayed in was well-furnished and a good size. Although the en-suite was small, it served its purpose. the highlight was definitely the breathtaking view and the tranquility that we didn't find in other nearby tourist spots. the attention to detail by the owners was evident, from the breakfast setup to the toiletries provided. the cuisine was excellent as well. Highly recommended!

We had a great value for our money at Ees Wyke Country House. The room was well-furnished and the location, overlooking the lake and countryside, was serene. The staff treated us with attentiveness and graciousness, especially Mr. Richard and Carola. The food, cooked by Mr. Richard, was exceptional, with the lamb being a standout dish. We loved the unique and quaint feel of the hotel in the beautiful English countryside.

The breakfast menu could have been improved.

The warm welcome, cozy and comfortable accommodation, and helpful host made our stay delightful. The breathtaking views from our room and the dining area, where we enjoyed an amazing breakfast, added to the charm. It's the ideal place for a serene and peaceful retreat, away from the bustling areas of the Lake District. The tranquil atmosphere, combined with friendly staff, truly made this a relaxing and enjoyable break.

The xmas experience at this hotel was wonderful. the rooms were cozy and comfortable, with amazing views of the surrounding landscapes. the staff were welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. the location was perfect, offering a peaceful and secluded atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the food at the hotel was absolutely delicious, with a variety of dishes to choose from.

It would have been nice to have a faster and more stable internet connection, especially in today's connected world. there could have been more activities or amenities available at the hotel to keep guests entertained, especially during the holiday season.

I recently stayed at Ees Wyke Country House for a couple of nights and it was completely outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, going out of their way to help us. Karola even offered us lifts to and from Windermere, saving us on expensive taxi fares. The location and the building itself were beautiful, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. it was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend.
