I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location couldn't have been better, as it was conveniently situated near the centre of Ambleside. It was just on the outskirts of the main part of town and only a short walk from the restaurants and shops. The service was top-notch, with the hosts being incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout my stay. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities I could ask for, including a sitting area and free wi-fi in the rooms. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and it was a great way to start my day of exploring the area. I also appreciated the private off-road parking, which made it easy for me to come and go as I pleased. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for enhanced comfort and quality services.

elder grove bed & breakfast in ambleside exceeded my expectations! the hosts were phenomenal, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable, relaxing stay. the location was great, with easy access to the village center, and the breakfast options were delicious with vegetarian/vegan choices available. the room was spotless and had good wifi and a tv. highly recommend!

We just had a wonderful 3-night stay at this exceptional B&B. the individually designed and decorated rooms had lots of little touches that made our stay memorable. the breakfast was delicious with locally sourced products, and the staff provided great tourist and walking information with maps, leaflets, and vouchers. We also loved the shoe trays for muddy boots and the option to borrow a flask and rucksack. the location was perfect, just a short walk to shops and amenities, and a bit further to the lake and pier. the period property was thoughtfully converted and even had a small bar with a fire brigade theme. the comfortable TV lounge and free parking were also a plus. We can't wait to return to this little gem.
