Wonderful Stay

We had the most relaxing and enjoyable weekend at The Eltermere Inn. The rooms were beautifully decorated with lots of character and the food was delicious. We loved that they had a separate dog-friendly restaurant area for our furry companion. Despite the stormy weather, we still managed to explore the stunning Lake District scenery. I would highly recommend The Eltermere Inn for a cozy and charming stay in the heart of the Lake District.

driving to the lake, we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a hotel. the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. it was the perfect getaway and exceeded all expectations.

We had great value for our money at this charming little hotel. The room was lovely, with a quirky and unique design that added to the overall experience. The location was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the surrounding hills. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The morning meal would have been even better with a wider variety of options.

The location of this inn was fantastic, nestled in the heart of the Lake District. It was within easy walking distance of some must-visit spots, like Chester's by the river. the rooms were clean and tidy, and the beds were incredibly soft and cozy. the check-in staff were welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. And let's not forget the food - it was absolutely incredible! the meals served here were next level, and the flavors were simply superb.

There were a few issues that could be improved upon. the bar staff seemed a bit distant and not very attentive to the guests.

Nothing to dislike.

We had the most amazing stay at a charming country retreat in the Lakes. The staff made us feel so welcome and the food was out of this world. The attention to detail in every dish was impressive. The new chocolate fudge dessert was the best I've ever had! The location and building itself were beautiful, with stunning views of the fells. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly special and charming experience.

We had an absolutely stunning stay at this luxurious hotel in a beautiful location. The views from our room were superb, and we were conveniently located for hiking in the surrounding area. The food at the restaurant was excellent, with a good choice of dishes that were all of high quality. The hotel amenities, such as the ironing facilities and tea/coffee making facilities in the room, added to our overall comfort. The hotel also had a lovely terrace and garden area where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The hotel is located just at the edge of Elterwater, offering a fantastic spot for hiking in the Langdale valley. The rooms are stunning, with super king beds and luxurious bathrooms featuring stand-alone roll-top baths. The service is top-notch, with the manageress even delivering drinks to our room. The food is excellent, with dinner and breakfast being standout meals. The hotel also offers a cream tea, which was lovely. The location is close to nature, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful views of Elterwater.

Some initial confusion regarding dog-friendly rooms caused some inconvenience for guests.

The wifi was unreliable and often didn't work in our room. the mobile signal was weak in the hotel and non-existent in many parts of the surrounding area.
