Beautiful building and wonderful service from the staff. The staff members Jenny, Paige, and Adam were particularly fantastic. Located in the heart of the town, making it a convenient place to stay.

The hotel layout was confusing and had poor signage. The restaurant quality did not match the price.

I had an amazing experience at this stunning hotel. the staff were friendly and hardworking, ensuring a great stay. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary bottle of prosecco. the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. the valet service for the car was convenient, saving me the hassle of finding parking. the staff even went out of their way to bring my car back earlier than usual to accommodate my early departure. the spa was a delightful place to relax and unwind, and breakfast offered a tasty selection of food. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

We had an amazing time at the hotel! The spa facilities were top-notch, with friendly staff and a good location. Our room had a comfortable bed and a great view of the outdoor pool. The breakfast selection was fantastic, especially the full English, and we were impressed with the beautiful restoration of the hotel. We also enjoyed the hot stone massage, which was worth every penny!

Felt like a home away from home - no complaints!

The historical building is beautifully restored and the room was furnished in a fitting Georgian-inspired decor. the large bathroom was a nice touch. the spa facilities were a delight, with diverse pools and saunas to relax in after a long day of travel.

The staff were not very attentive and we had to wait for service in the bar. the rooms were on the smaller side and lacked any special touches for our special occasion.

We had a luxurious stay at this hotel. the Spa & wellness centre was exceptional, we enjoyed the heated indoor swimming pool and Sauna. the body scrub left us feeling refreshed. the restaurant had a great menu and the food was delicious. the seasonal outdoor pool had comfortable sun loungers, perfect for relaxing.

The only minor issue was that we had to wait a little longer for our room to be ready. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making the wait stress-free.

our valentine's day stay in buxton was absolutely perfect. ensana exceeded our expectations with their amazing location, well-equipped and clean bedrooms, and the breathtaking top floor swimming pool. the breakfast was excellent, although they did forget to serve our toasts. overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back.

Parking meter was hard to find.

Good breakfast selection with plenty of variety. the spa facilities were nice and added to the overall experience. the room was clean and had a comfortable bed. Plus, the hotel is in a great location, close to shops and restaurants.

The service throughout the hotel was poor with long waiting times, especially during busy periods. the drinks in the bar were also very expensive and not worth the price, and the hotel could have been better maintained.
