I appreciated the ability to open windows for fresh air. The hotel has a lovely outside terrace in the bar area for enjoying good weather.

As foreign tourists, we loved the warm and friendly staff who made us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The clean rooms and variety of tea and coffee were excellent. The jacuzzi bath in our room was a nice touch. The restaurant offered beautiful views and delicious food. We only wished it was warmer so we could enjoy the stunning scenery from the garden.

It's not far from both Lyme Regis and Axminster, making it perfect for days out exploring. The room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The service was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious. I also appreciated the little touches like a goody box for my dog and dog-friendly facilities.

That the kitchen was closed on Sunday evening, so I wasn't able to sample the excellent dinner menu.
