I had the most wonderful stay! The hotel is a beautiful historic property set in tranquil and beautiful grounds. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby houses, villages, and landscape. The hotel facilities, including the brand new Spa and gym, were well-equipped and impressive. The staff were friendly, and every single person I encountered was helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. The cleanliness of the room, as well as the excellent breakfast, added to the overall positive experience.

We had an amazing stay on a budget. The spa was top-notch, with an excellent hydropool. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Robbie who ensured we had delicious vegetarian food. The manager, Sunil, took the time to speak with us about our stay.

From the beautiful building and location, to the comfortable rooms and friendly staff, everything was perfect. The Cedar restaurant provided a lovely dining experience with excellent breakfast and delicious food. What truly stood out was the incredibly kind and helpful staff who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. From Lauren on reception to Luke who adapted to dietary requirements, and the attentive spa staff, everyone was at the top of their game. We would love to stay here again.

The characterful building, especially the great hall and restaurant, added to the charm of the hotel. The beautiful countryside setting made for delightful walks around the estate.

The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful and the reception rooms have a historic and atmospheric charm. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and offered delicious mince pies. The staff were generally friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The rooms we stayed in were a bit tired and dated, with some maintenance issues like a wardrobe that wouldn't close properly. The bathroom being upstairs was inconvenient, especially during the night.

The open fires and tall Christmas trees gave the place a cozy and inviting feel. I dined at the restaurant for a New Year's Eve Gala and was blown away by the quality of the four-course dinner. The chef even went out of their way to accommodate special requests. The rooms were modern, spacious, and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a night of celebration. Breakfast was also freshly prepared and delicious, with a great selection of options.
