The staff were fantastic and made us feel so welcome. the pub has a charming old vibe with a spacious beer garden, perfect for chilling out with a drink or meal. My room was comfy and clean, and the food was top-notch. Only downer was the lack of coffee/tea in the room, had to ask for hot water - a minor inconvenience that didn't spoil the overall terrific experience. 🌿.

We recently stayed at a lovely little pub in a charming location. the rooms were simple but comfortable, with nice mattresses and comfy bedding. the shower room was great, and we appreciated the powerful shower. the staff were polite and helpful, and we were pleased to find that the property is dog-friendly. Although the pub was closed during our stay, the quiet atmosphere was a bonus. a fine choice for a couple of nights.

Stayed here for two nights as a base for work. Twin room was bright with a large en suite shower. Free coffee machine available. Lovely pub garden with great selection of ales.

As young people, we loved the atmospheric pub with a big covered beer garden. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The location was picturesque with plenty of character. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were excellent, perfect for two visitors and a baby cot. The facilities in the room, like the free coffee and tea, were great. The location was convenient for visiting Newbury, Hungerford, and National Trust locations. Parking was easy to find, and the dinner options were fantastic.

We felt very welcomed, and there was no reason to complain.

Located in a downstairs area, the pub at Five Bells Wickham was closed during my stay, creating a peaceful atmosphere for a great night's sleep. Additionally, the lovely massive beer garden and its proximity to Highclare castle offered a beautiful natural setting. The rooms were small but well-designed, with a pleasant view over a thatched cottage. The staff was friendly, and there was a small tea and coffee station nearby.

The pub and restaurant were closed throughout my stay, so I had to travel elsewhere for meals.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel and we were thoroughly impressed. The location was idyllic, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were top-notch, with thoughtful touches like a bottle of still water and a small tea and coffee station just down the stairs. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay.

My friend and I chose this place as it was conveniently located halfway between our homes. the staff at Five Bells Wickham were incredibly accommodating and friendly, making us feel very welcome. the food served in the pub was excellent, and we enjoyed a comfortable night's stay in a clean and cozy room. the atmosphere both inside and outside the pub was brilliant and relaxed, with a beautiful garden and a covered patio area. We had a lovely room with a roll top bath and separate shower, adding to our overall enjoyment of the stay. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were pleasant, efficient, friendly, and helpful. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard, with comfortable beds and plenty of extra pillows. The hotel facilities included a capsule coffee machine in the lobby and fresh milk in a mini fridge. The location was perfect for our needs as we were working in the surrounding counties.

We had a lovely stay at a charming inn just off the M4. The room was excellent for two guests and they even provided a cot for our baby. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Parking was readily available and we enjoyed a great dinner at the inn. I would highly recommend this hotel for its wonderful ambiance and great services.

One minor drawback was that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. However, they did have a nice coffee machine in the lobby for all guests to use, which was a welcome alternative.

Check-in was problematic, with waiting outside for an hour due to nobody being available. it was inconvenient that the pub closed shortly after supper without being informed, and that there were no places to sit and chat after this happened.
