I recently stayed at Garrison Cells for a couple of nights for a budget-friendly getaway. The twin room was spacious, the staff were friendly, and the facilities were adequate. I loved the unique concept of staying in ex-cells, and the separate shower room added a quirky touch. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep after a long day of hiking. The staff were accommodating and even provided plates and cutlery for our takeaway food.

I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is really close to the town centre, making it convenient for exploring the city and all its attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with superb showers and comfy beds. The staff are helpful and friendly, providing great service.

The size of the rooms can be a bit tight, especially if you have a lot of luggage.

We appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee in the dining area. the staff were friendly and there was free parking on site. the location was convenient, just a couple of minutes' walk from the lively high street.

Staying at Garrison Cells was a unique and unforgettable experience. The concept of turning old mail cells into cozy rooms was truly adorable. Despite the small size of the rooms, they were clean and comfortable, and the bed provided a good night's sleep. The location in downtown Fort William was perfect for exploring Scotland, with stunning sights like Loch Lomond and Glen Coe just a short drive away. Plus, having a multitude of pubs, restaurants, and cafes just footsteps away was very convenient. The quirky nature of the hotel added a special charm to the stay.

While the room size was expected to be small, it was even smaller than anticipated. However, it was manageable for a one-night stay.

The location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome during our Easter break. the availability of free parking was a convenient perk for us.

One major downside was the lack of parking spaces at the hotel. We ended up having to park quite a distance away and pay for parking elsewhere.

The ladder to the top bunk being a bit tricky to navigate, especially with tired legs after exploring the area. the drain in the shower could use some attention as it started to smell a bit after a couple of days.

The rooms were extremely small, with no closets or cupboards for storage. This made it difficult to move around and caused inconvenience.

loved my short stay in fort william. garrison cells exceeded expectations - cosy, clean cells with excellent amenities and helpful staff. ideal location for exploring scotland, close to pubs and eateries. will definitely recommend to friends and family.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main area of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel very welcome. The room had a lot of character and was surprisingly spacious. The en-suite bathroom had a powerful shower, which was a great way to start the day!

Great location, concept, and amenities. Convenient bike storage available. Luxurious Jail room with unique shower area and excellent toiletries. Comfortable beds with a fan to keep cool. Spacious and trendy reception and bar area. Good breakfast and accommodating staff for bag storage.

Quirky style, tiny but expected. Lovely breakfast. Brilliant staff. Private shower. Great value for money.
