The value for money at this lovely old inn was excellent, and the room we stayed in was comfortable and nicely decorated. The hotel is located in a quiet village, but still easily accessible from the motorway. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Hotel breakfast could be improved by offering a larger variety of coffee options.

The accommodation was incredibly serene and tastefully decorated, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The bar exuded a warm and lively vibe, making it a joy to be around. The dinner we indulged in was absolutely scrumptious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning as regular travelers on this route. It's worth noting that they welcome dogs, and while we're not particularly dog lovers, we were amazed by how well-behaved the owners and their four-legged companions were. However, it might be helpful for future guests with dog allergies to be aware of their presence. the ambience was simply amazing, and as a solo traveler with my furry friend, I felt incredibly welcomed. The staff went above and beyond. The room was immaculate and comfortable, and the food was simply delightful. The location was convenient, near the M6 and A66. I can't wait to return for another fantastic visit.
