Exceptional service and cozy atmosphere

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. the location was convenient for exploring the Peak District, and the nearby woodlands were a lovely bonus. the only downside was the lack of food available at the pub.

The exceptional quality of the newly refurbished rooms surpassed my expectations. The cozy bed was a dream, and the breakfast was a highlight. Friendly staff, convenient location for Peak District exploration. Just be aware no food available in the evenings. a great stay with minor drawbacks like limited breakfast options and lack of clothes hanging space.

i had a wonderful stay at the george and dragon bed & breakfast. the breakfast was delicious and just the right portion size. jenny, the staff member, was extremely friendly and helpful. the room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view of the village church. the bed was incredibly cozy, and the large tv was a nice touch. the walk-in shower was spacious with plenty of hot water. the pub's location near friends made it convenient for our gatherings. overall, a very pleasant experience and i will definitely return when in the area.

I enjoyed chilling at the terrace, pretending I'm a fancy aristocrat. the continental breakfast was divine, felt like I was in Paris. the flat-screen TV made me feel like a movie star.

No hanging facilities, feeling like a peasant with no wardrobe.

The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms with great facilities, including a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, freshly cooked using local produce. The location was perfect, with easy access to the nearby city and plenty of parking available.

I stayed at George And Dragon for a quick weekend getaway. The owner's mom prepared a delicious breakfast, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The place was impeccably clean, with newly decorated bedrooms and a great shower. Despite being next to a road, the windows blocked out any noise. a fantastic stay!
