The boiled eggs were straight out of a fairytale, and the local eats were a culinary victory. the room, despite minor flaws, was cozy and spacious. Plus, the spotless surroundings were a breath of fresh air.

Could use a tad more room prep, and a deeper clean around the taps wouldn't hurt. A designated parking spot near their rooms might offer more privacy.

Comfortable Stay with Friendly Staff and Great Location

I enjoyed a comfortable stay with friendly staff who were very helpful. the location was excellent and the facilities were great, making my overall experience a positive one. improvements could be made in terms of meal options and the quality of food served at the pub, especially arriving late.

We had a cozy room in a separate building with its entrance, perfect for our late-night and early-morning walks. the room was beautifully furnished, clean, and had a comfortable bed. the shower was top-notch, and the pub had a great menu with an excellent chef. Plus, the staff was super friendly, and the location was ideal for our visits.

The breakfast options were limited to instant porridge and a croissant, and the room wasn't cleaned or restocked during our two-night stay. the fridge wasn't refilled, and we had to request additional items like butter and jam.

Quirky, historical, and recently renovated stopover option. Surprisingly spacious with well-equipped rooms. Lovely meal in charming beer garden. Set in beautiful countryside, providing a peaceful and quiet stay. Prompt and considerate staff.

I loved my cozy stay in the hayloft, perfect for my late night walks at Knepp. The room was attractively furnished and spotless, with a great shower. The pub had a friendly atmosphere and delicious food. Dog-friendly with lovely walks nearby. Just missed having a dog poo bin. The hosts were helpful and the location stunning. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The George And Dragon in the countryside was amazing! Spacious, charming rooms with comfy beds. Superb, fresh food at the pub. Pet-friendly with no limit. Friendly staff and locals. Lovely area for dog walks. Highly recommend and will return.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for the places I wanted to visit, and the room itself was bright and well-appointed. The bathroom was especially impressive, with modern fixtures and a hot, high-pressure shower. I was pleasantly surprised to find a sweet little breakfast laid out, complete with fresh milk pods. The hosts were organized and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. The combination of modern and classic decor gave the place a charming ambiance. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

stayed in George And Dragon. lovely little room, 2 windows, door open, important in hot weather. clean and fresh, tea and coffee provided. beautiful countryside, nice and quiet. separate little room, friendly and welcoming staff. fabulous dinner at the pub.

We stayed in a cosy room, separate from the main building, at the back of the pub. the location was quiet, perfect for a peaceful retreat. the friendly staff stocked our breakfast groceries and the pretty beer garden provided a lovely spot to relax. Transportation to the South Coast was convenient. Cons: Nothing it was perfect.

I recently stayed at the George And Dragon in a separate white building and it was a lovely and cosy experience. The location was incredibly quiet, allowing for a peaceful stay. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond by helping us with our breakfast groceries. The terrace provided a beautiful space to relax in the countryside. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and controllable heating. a fantastic mix of modern and classic.

Stayed at a hotel with a restaurant and parking. How extravagant! Also, they had free WiFi which is basically like winning the lottery. I even got to see Preston Park from there, such a thrill!

Who needs a full English breakfast in the UK anyways? A pot of jam and porridge in my room was just what I had in mind.
