We had a really cosy room with a comfy bed, which made our stay here so enjoyable. The breakfast was lovely, and the food in general was fantastic. The meals in the bar were superb, and the portions were huge! We were initially hesitant about the prices, but the quality of the meals made it worth it. The staff were so friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The service was excellent, and the room was basic but nice and clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. Another plus is that this place is dog-friendly, so we would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely traditional English pub. the staff at George & Dragon were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, especially with our young boys who can be quite lively. the staff showed a genuine interest in our children, and even allowed them to choose a different toy to bring to breakfast or dinner each time. the room was clean and cozy, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. We were particularly impressed with the freshly cooked breakfast. Free parking was also a great bonus. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

The rooms' decor and furnishings were a bit tired, although the bathroom had been recently refurbished. the bed had an old mattress and the pillows were not comfortable.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Kirkbymoorside, close to an event we were attending. The bar area is lovely, and we enjoyed having breakfast in the bar with our dog. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed for a short stay. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home.
